I have posted his current practice details below for anyone else struggling to find his whereabouts.

I am very disappointed and felt defamed with dr Walters outcome trying to push me Back to work and denying my real and current medical situation, diagnosed by a GP, an US, two specialists and a hand therapist, who is actively engaged in recovering my arms. He said I’m too tiny to work where I am and that my condition doesn’t prevent me To work at all!!!! Hope he feel the same one day so he can get to know.

I had to see this disgusting "Doctor" through WorkCover QLD, and what an experience it was, he was laughing at my amputation and told me its more acceptable for a man to lose a finger then a woman, and from the other reviews it seems he is sexist. He also thinks its good to use rusty old pins to poke my hand when I've had multiple infections from my injury's. He also thinks mental heath issues are funny and not serious. Also had to ask him multiple times to stop hurting me as he was pushing it way to far. A big warning to anyone who has to see him! Take someone you trust as a witness and or record. This man is completely incompetent and should not be a Doctor!

My son had an appointment with John walters both my sons wrists are in pain and no better since 2 surgeries.
We were sent to him for permanent impairment assessment by work cover.
He has assessed my son as 0% impairment.
Please listen to these reviews and request someone else.
My son can’t lift over 500g and he has no more help with both wrists.
This man has zero conscience.
He is a pitiful human being.

Work cover will tell you they all have bad reviews. But it takes a certain type of person to be like John. They can’t all be as inhumane and disgusting as this man.

If I could leave a Zero or a negative I would. Dr Walters works for Workcover, he is NOT independent; he made up his mind about me before I walked through the door. He made sexist comments about my line of work and why I shouldn’t be doing it, claimed my pain was psychological and all in my head, forced my hand in different positions and claimed I had full range of motion. He reported on the wrong arm, couldn’t read his own paperwork right and claimed I said things I didn’t. He told Workcover that there was nothing wrong with my hand/arm and that I could go back to work. Fast forward just over a month and my surgeon did further investigations, fought for a second surgery where he found one nerve compressed and the other attached the scar tissue. Dr Walters should be reported by every single person who he’s screwed over or attempted to. He doesn’t care about patients, he cares about the dollar. A friend of mine recently saw him, too, where he didn’t even have any reports from Workcover so he made up a diagnosis “unrelated” to his injury. It’s not good enough! People are suffering for nothing. If you are sent to see him, DECLINE and request someone else or if take a support person as a witness.

I went to this Man Regarding a Work Cover Claim.
He could see i was in a lot of pain. However he wrote to work cover stating i did not need medical attention.
My Arm & Wrist are in serious trouble. I had results from an MRI Scan, he could even see these results knowing there was a TEAR & A CYST IN MY HAND.
My Work Cover Claim was cancelled because of this and now i am no longer able to get the MEDICAL ATTENTION I DESPERATELY NEED!!! Through the WorkCover Claim!

The worst experience I’ve ever had. Apparently he doesn’t know that he is dealing with human beings.

Rude, arrogant and highly unpleasant man. More concerned with $$ instead of quality patient care. Terrible "bed side manner". He didn't even introduce himself. Sought second opinion, best thing I've ever done as injury is to dominate hand! Too bad I can't give 0 stars.

Everything people said in previous reviews are correct went to him on Tuesday 30 th for elbow injury for work cover his beside manner was cold didnt even look at ultrasound hardly spoke a word had already made his mine before he examined me would not ever go there again and would never recommed him

He has done his report before you go to see him , So what injuries you may have he doesn't care his report will say your ok because that is what he gets pay to say it's his job.

Rude, arrogant, bias, unprepared and mindset is only to discredit patient....pro WorkCover.
