Living on the road and out near Mt Isa, having a specialist Psychiatrist review a patient via Teleconferencing is an excellent and time saving process, face to face visual with consultant and patient, relieves significant stressors and performed in a private environment (from my GP rooms) and the ability to discuss sensitive matters.
A rerreal from my GP was booked with zDr Nandam as the next available appoinment. My previous medication used over decades was clearly not helping my Anxiety, panic attacks and workplace bullying.
Correspondence to my GP required a Care Plan, wean off current medication, slowly implementing a different pathway medication, three months. A further appointment was made to see Dr Nandam via teleconference. He was very pleased with my outcome.
Dr Nandam was very thorough, asking relevant questions and I am very grateful for his professional expertise and assisting Care / advice with my GP.

Dr Nandam was both personable and knowledgeable. I felt heard and comforted by the feeling of being in competent hands. Although the appointment was not lengthy, Dr Nandam was able to ascertain a clear understanding of my complex situation. He gave me clear feedback and didn't end the communication until I felt comfortable with the information he was giving me. The report Dr Nandam wrote to my GP was thorough, clear and allowed my GP to easily take over my treatment regime. My GP and I were both impressed and very happy with Dr Nandam's services. Lovely and caring

Was waiting for an appointment since February until August understandable as there isn’t many psychiatrist around but then was given a call the day before and told if I didn’t return the call before 2pm my appointment would be cancelled I had work that day and finnished at 2:30 so didn’t have the opportunity to call them this is ridiculous that you expect people to wait 5+ months to then cancel the appointment the day before because I couldn’t return a phone call within 4 hours when most people work 9-5 anyways abit ridiculous and you wonder why the mental health of so many is declining because you don’t give anyone an opportunity or you have to wait till it’s too late

Dr namdam did the assessment, all good. Recommended I take a non stimulant medication for my adhd, he doesn't write a script or have a follow up appointment to see how your going or track dosage. He doesn't prescribe any stimulant medication which fine.
But all the responsibility was put on my GP. I had 2 GP's confused as to why he didnt write the script and refuse to write me one with all the responsibility based on his assessment. Also I had some bad side effects wanted to talk with him to discuss dosage or another type of medi action. Didnt talk to him, spoke to reception Basically told me to see my GP. Didn't want anything to do with it.
Not much care or responsibility in my opinion. Just wham bam thank you mam........next

Practice manager Danielle bolton and Tash the admin are both lovely to speak with and make you feel very warmly welcome and acknowledged.
Dr Sanjay Nandam of course as a trained psychiatrist was terribly rushful and didn't diagnose me with a psychological injury alleged related work cover claim which was not accepted. Due to some of my preexisting conditions, he didn't acknowledge the fact that a pre-existing injury which is a psychological injury can be the same as a physical injury. Alleged psychological damage claim was not accepted.
He then quickly hung up the call to rush to his next patient without even saying goodbye as I still had plenty to speak to him about. A preexisting physical injury is the same as a psychological injury which most definitely can be aggravated same as a physical injury can be aggravated.
With the result and no determined psychological damage recorded, I am completely traumatized and I would never recommend this doctor as he will not help you and is only in it for the money, showed no signs of sympathy at all.
