Shell's Nails Myer Centre

I had a great experience. Shell was friendly and did a great job with my waxing and nails. The place was clean and fairly tidy. The waxing was less painful than regular places I've been too, which is good. They took great care when doing my nails. Fair prices. Easily accessible in the Myer Centre. I went Sunday afternoon which was nice and quiet.

I've been coming here for waxing on and off for years. They've always done an excellent thorough job. I have also had 1-2 mani/pedis per year now and they've always taken care of me. I always walk out happy with the service and the quality for the price paid. Will happily return soon!

The ladies were lovely. My Mum and I both got Mani/Pedi and they were so amazing and professional. Would definitely recommend to anyone who is in the area.

They were very kind and we had a nice chat while getting my manicure done.🙃It was my birthday and they were very generous and gave me free designs ☺ I recommend these friendly nail artists although I wasn’t impressed with how they didn’t fill in my nails all the way to cuticles or to the sides of my nails. (As shown on pinky finger in photo) 💅

I went in to get my eye brows waxed and the lady did such a poor job doing them. The wax was too hot it burnt me. At the end she didnt clean my brows with anything leaving my brows and eye lids sticky. Would highly not recommended!

She took off my old polish with the machine and not with the product. My nails are all soft now. After two days they were already damaged. I'm really disappointed.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. My older sister from overseas, was so sweet for gifted me Groupons. To congratulate me for my first pregnancy. This was my first time ever getting my nails done. I was 7months pregnant and wanted to use my voucher the day of my photoshoot. I came in and sat down seeing there was three ladies working, and one looked like the manager. One lady was talking to another just playing around with the file tools and doing their own nails for the whole time I was there. The lady who was helping me didnt really want to talk to so I figured that it was just a language barrier. She asked for me to pick a colour, so I did. She asked for what length I wanted, I said same was fine. I put my hands down on the sanitary matt like she asked and noticed that it was kinda dirty, like it hadn't been changed in a while. She looked at the files that she had kind of like she didn't know what to do. I put together that she was just new and thought not to think too much of it. She grabbed a large white plastic file and just kind of brushed up and down the sides of my nails. Some all the way up to the skin and others only around the free nail. She got to my pinky, still on my first hand. I thought in my head this doesn't feel right, and three fast up and down motions she was cutting into my skin. I was bleeding and screamed as the first time cut in. She completely missed my nail and separated the flesh from the side of my nail. She gave me a tissue asked me to squeeze it with the tissue. She walked over to a cabinet and grabbed out two small bottle dropped that looked like they had old mouth wash in them, with no lables. She sat down and took back my tissue, trying to squeeze out this blue liquid. The liquid was dry so she used the other bottle. I was trying not to cry, I was trying to call my husband who was also at the shopping center but he didn't answer. I didnt know what to do or say. I didn't want to scare her. I didnt know how to react without feeling like I was going to make a fuss. So I thought to myself. If I let her continue and it was a good job it would make it better. In the back of my mind I just wanted to go. I let her continue, then is when she started to talk to me. I kept telling myself she's new and it's okay. She asked me to dip my nails in this small container (that already had water with floaties in it) for a single minute with my pinky "still bleeding" off to the side. It took her 6 coats on each hand under the UV lights to get pigment out of the polish. The polish wasn't even with coverage and was clumpy on a few fingers. The manager came around and they lady helping me chatted to her while they looked at my nails. The manager said "It's fine, you like right?? It's good??" I looked at the lady helping me and said I'm sorry but it's clumpy on some places. She filed them down and still had 2 rounds of still not fully covered nails. I still think of this place and not know what I should have done better.

If you want someone to apply nail polish in $30 then you must visit this place otherwise they are not at all good at doing pedicure as I went there for that and the lady just took 10 mins to do pedicure, no massage and no scrubbing just removing and applying nail polish is the thing they consider in pedicure

Worst experience I’ve ever had; unhygienic, rude and cunning (make you pay extra for the service you had already paid for). This place should be shut down.
