I was lucky enough to win a Valentines Day competition for a four course meal & wine pairing for 2 at Osteria Epoca.
This was one of the best dining experiences my partner and I have ever had.
Chef Lorenzo went out of his way to make us feel so welcome and looked after.
The food was 10/10 with each meal better than the last, we got to experience a range of meals we have not tried before and were also blown away with the wines perfectly matching to each dish.
The atmosphere is beautiful, with such a welcoming, personable vibe.
Thank you to Chef Lorenzo and all staff/chefs who made our evening one to remember.
This has now easily become one of our new favorite places to dine. Thank you for spoiling us,

Workforce shortages and increasing cost of supply seems to be catching up with previously top notch experience at the Osteria Epoca. We used to go there several times a year for authentic and delicious food, friendly staff and warm atmosphere. However, last couple of visits very hugely disappointing - the size of dishes have significantly shrank even the prices have gone up. The shrimp ravioli literally had a single shrimp and what used to be, in my view one of the best Pizzas in Brisbane, was more than disappointing, with toppings more than modest and overcooked and below average base, on pair what would you get from Domino’s. Staff were friendly but a fewer in numbers so services was slow beyond standard. The place was still busy but the overall atmosphere would improve with more staff and faster service, and some nice discreet Italian tunes to buffer the chatter and nose from the kitchen. The significant drop in a quality of food is very concerning for what used to be a trading mark of this lively restaurant frequented by locals.

Amazing and authentic Italian food with friendly staff and a great atmosphere!

Absolutely wonderful in every way. My first time at an Italian Restaurant, my goodness what an experience. The food was divine, I had the cannelloni, it was so fresh and the flavours were divine. Definitely the best restaurant I have eaten at. Sublime!!!!!!!!

Lovely hidden gem, with a relaxing atmosphere, beautiful authentic Italian cuisine and freindly staff.

The location is easily accessible, with plenty of street parking.

Great selection of enticing dishes and Italian wines to choose from. I had the antipasto platter to start and porchetta for main. Both were well presented, portioned and with a lot of care and attention given.

Antipasto was a great way to start the meal with a nice variety of cured meats and sides.

Porchetta, beautifully roasted and seasoned with crunch from the crackling. The baked apple was a nice addition for texture and sweetness.

Will definitely come back.

Such beautiful food, both our meals were absolutely spot on, the staff are friendly and display excellent service. The venue is a mixed between a romantic, family friendly and unpretentious atmosphere. A great hidden gem in the suburbs.
It was a great price and the waiters were very attentive and professional. There’s even a pretty decked outdoor area. We will 100% be back!

My partner and I had a wonderful evening here. The charred octopus was absolutely delicious, as was the rest of our food. Our waiter was very friendly and the restaurant had a cosy atmosphere.

Enjoyed multiple most delicious dinners here. Today lunch, too. Best Cannoli in town!

Recommend for a special dinner out. Calamari was delicious.

It’s my first time here and had heard some wonderful things about the food, the vibe and the staff - happy to day it’s all true and the food was very yummy!😋

On this occasion we ordered:
• Prosciutto & Rucola Pizza - Whole peeled tomatoes, fior di latte mozzarella, prosciutto di Parma, wild rocket
• Funghi & Tartufo Pizza - Fior di latte mozzarella, mushrooms, truffle paste
• Spaghetti alla Chitarra - Served with asparagus and pancetta in a Saffron sauce
• Local caught swordfish with asparagus and truffled cauliflower cream
• Tagliatelle e gamberi - House made Tagliatelle with Mooloolaba King prawn
• Chocolate Cannolis 🤤

The pizzas were a great start to the meals. The crust was great - not too thin or thick with a slightly charred edge on certain bits. The Mushroom one was a definite table favourite and the prosciutto was equally just as good for me tooo 😍

The King Prawn pasta was really really good. Loads of prawns mixed into it plus the king prawns on top 👌🏻👌🏻

The spaghetti in saffron sauce was divine! The pancetta seasoned the pasta well with flavour and wasn’t too salty! Totally loved it! 🤤

Aaaaaand the cannoli was just made! Freshly made with that awesome chocolate filling! Perfect way to finish off an amazing feed

As always, the food was delicious. I had spaghetti with ricotta, walnuts and lemon. My partner had a vegetarian pizza. Both were fantastic dishes. I wasn't offered pepper for my pasta, and dessert (hazelnut meringue with caramelised apple and custard) took a long time to come out, so service could be improved.

Otherwise a thoroughly enjoyable dinner. I will be back.

Hidden delight with delicious, authentic Italian cuisine. We all enjoyed our chosen meal, each of which was very different. Dessert and coffee also amazing. Service was wonderful. Such patience and kindness was shown to my elderly mother. We will definitely go again.

Beautiful food, great variety, and interesting flavour combinations. Service was friendly, prompt and efficient. Great atmosphere - just a little noisy.

Lovely little restaurant in a cute pocket of Yeronga. Intimate, warm and friendly service. And of course, Lorenzo the owner is just one of the wonderful personalities and a maestro in the kitchen and on the floor that makes it all special.

Lovely food and service in a restaurant with real style, charm and atmosphere. Our steak was cooked perfectly. We will visit again.

Pizza was amazing. Beef brisket was amazing. Dessert was amazing. Authentic Italian cooking, cozy environment, great choices of food and wine. Highly recommend
