Normally, I hate shopping for shoes but I had the best experience today at Blue Heeler Boots (West End). The salesman was so helpful and knowledgeable, and very genuine. In the end, I left with the most gorgeous pair of stylish boots that feel so comfortable and some beautifully snuggly bamboo socks.
I am now a HUGE fan of this locally owned and operated store, which just happens to have the largest range of safety/non-safety boots in Australia. And it makes me so happy that my Mongrel Boots (claret oil kip K9 elastic-sided) are fully Australian made!

I bought a pair of boots here today. The guy who served us was so helpful, patient and accommodating. Not at all pushy, just a great attitude and very friendly. It seemed as though he really loved his job. Service like this is very rare and I would be stoked to have someone like this work for my business. I came across this place when looking for Red Wing boots in Brisbane. The staff were very knowledgeable, friendly and the purchase of my new boots was drama free and quick. Now to the boots, I bought a pair of Iron Ranger boots in black harness leather. I wasn't too sure when initially looking online as they appeared quite shiny but they have a nice matt oily type finish which is what I wanted. These are beautifully constructed boots made the old way with cork filling under a thick slab of leather on the footbed, a steel shank and goodyear welted. The leather is thick and durable and will take quite a bit to break in but that's always a sign of a quality boot. Sure they're not cheap but there are many stories of these boots lasting a decade or more so an average yearly cost appears quite reasonable. I've owned many high end boots from RM Williams to Belstaff and these outrank both of them for construction and feel. I'm now sold on this brand and won't hesitate to buy another pair when need be. If you're looking for some quality boots that will last for years go and visit Blue Heeler Boots, you won't be disappointed.

I bought 2 pairs of boots here a year ago, a Redback and a Blundstone. The lady I dealt with was Susanna. She was very knowledgeable, made recommendations, very patient and lovely and kind. When I returned again I had great customer service from Carol. Both were exceptional, they were warm, friendly and had very good product knowledge and was not pushy. Both spent time and effort with all their customers. I have recommended to many friends to support them. They have the best range of quality boots.

Popped in to buy some new Blundstones for travel/everyday use and was served by Suzanna. She was great; a total asset to the team. She got me fitted well, discussed what boot options will be most ideal for me and addressed every concern that I had with patience, understanding and expertise.

Went here for work boots. The staff member who helped me took a lot of care into finding a boot that fit my difficult feet. Amazing service and quality footwear, highly recommend.

The women at the front counter was super nice and helpful. she put aside the boots for me no other store has done this for me. it is a drive to get to the place epically if you live on the north side but it is worth the drive as the staff the wide stock and just the awesome help that was given to me with the selection of my boots. the only improvements is that return can be back in cash not store credit. but way better than total work wear.

I purchased some boots here recently and the staff were incredibly helpful, both over the phone and in-person. They included some free leather polish with my boots, and the store is dog friendly too.

I have purchased 4 pairs of work boots from Blue Heeler over the years and have never been happier than today. Having a course start tomorrow that requires safety wear, I contacted Blue Heeler and the lady who works here made a special trip in to help me out. She was wonderfully helpful and had all my needs sorted efficiently and cheerfully. When someone makes the effort during a health crisis to help out a customer, that makes them a star of customer service in my books.
