Dr Doust was the first and only doctor that listened to all my concerns about the issues I was having and persistently tried to figure out what was wrong. She validated how I was feeling, discussed all options and was very open about what tests we were doing and what they were looking for and then other options if they didn’t work. She even called me on a personal number on the weekend with test results! For small issues I’ll go to a bull billing doctor but when I need someone that actually cares I always go here!

I just moved from Newcastle to Indooroopilly Qld 4068. I needed an appointment with a GP. I was very please with my first appointment and all my medical records from Newcastle are being collected by the Indooroopilly Family Practice. It is so convenient and very helpful.

The team at the practice is really welcoming and friendly. The receptionists, the nurses, and Dr. Graciela Fanning are very nice.

From my first appointment, Graciela Fanning was excellent. She has a lot of patience and answers questions with clarity. I believe she went above and beyond to make sure I received the best possible care. For example, to improve my overall well-being, she recommended a few articles and books on various health topics for me to read, and these resources were very interesting and helpful. She is also very quick to act, she is a professional. Her kindness and empathy are great. I think she is wonderful.

The location of the practice is very convenient with a chemist and two supermarkets located next door, making it easy to access any necessary medications or supplies. There is also a pathologist. Actually, it is in a mall, and thus there are many shops around, with air conditioning. It is a very convenient practice.

Overall, I had a very positive experience at the practice, thanks in large part to the outstanding care and attention provided by Graciela. Top-quality healthcare.

Dr Anh To has been my mother's GP for more than 20 years. Dr To's medical skill, knowledge, patience, comprehensiveness, professional and empathic patient care has and continues to be exceptional. Because of Dr To's care, my beautiful mum who is 98, is alive and well and living her best life. Thank you Dr To. You're a wonderful GP and human being. I would also like to thank the Reception and Nursing Teams at Indooroopilly Family Practice. The Reception Team is professional, helpful and courteous even when they're under pressure they always do their best to assist. The Nursing Team go above and beyond when treating mum. This experienced team treat her with respect, excellent and appropriate medical skill and positivity. Thank you all!

Words cannot explain how much I love Kelly Watt as a doctor (and a person!).

She’s kind, caring, listens actively and attentively, always does what she says she’ll do and works tirelessly for her patients. She answers all of my questions without being condescending and explains everything in a way I can understand.

You can tell that she cares in the small things she does, like how she’ll turn her computer screen towards you so you can see what she’s doing, or how she’ll stop typing and face you when you’re speaking so you know she’s paying attention.

I was tempted not to write this review in the off case she got too popular and it became more difficult to get an appointment with her, but I realised what a positive change she’s made in my life and wanted others to know what it’s like to have a doctor who cares. I especially recommend her to anyone with ongoing or chronic conditions.

I would also like to commend Jodi and the other reception staff for the number of plates they keep spinning. While I was in the waiting room, the phone would not stop ringing, there’d always be a new walk-in trying to be seen that day, or another staff member popping in with a question or a request. She handled it all seamlessly and with grace.

Friendly reception team. I was seen within 5 minutes of my scheduled appointment time. Dr Harrison was lovely and took the time to explore not only the issues I had come to see her for, but also minor issues that I had but didn't immediately think to raise with her. I highly recommend.

I highly rate the professionalism and humanity from Dr Sangeetha and the reception staff. I would recommend this practice to my friends and family.

Dr Anh To has to be one of the best doctors I have ever seen in years. She goes well beyond what is required during a consultation, a very thorough assessment of what the problem is, and then goes to another level by contacting various specialist consultants to get specific advice and reports that same day. She even takes the time to then call you later that day with the final outcomes. You feel 100% assured you have been given a very accurate prognosis and best advice on which are the most beneficial next steps to take. This is completed with recommendations for an array of equally terrific specialist consultants for complex issues. Absolutely refreshing to see somebody who has a thoroughly professional, genuine and caring approach to primary care. Simply outstanding!

I have been a patient of theirs for well over 10 years, Dr Thakur and Dr Sugg (RIP) has always been kind caring and understanding. The staff have always been hard working kind and polite, they run a very busy practice with such high demand from the public. I will wait as long as I need too to see my doctor.
It's never the doctor running late, it's normally patients going over time without pre booking that time but maybe they need extra care. We should be considerate of that for each other. I haven't waited for my doctor beyond my appt time slot for no more than 15mIns. It's reasonable to get their care.

My daughter had an anaphylactic reaction in the centre and luckily one of the doctors and nurse were able to see her and call an ambulance. Not only were the medical staff calm, lovely and informative, their reception staff were kind and helped me organise forms which can be tricky with a sick toddler. I would recommend this practice.

Have been a regular there for over a year. Only seen the one Dr but they are great.(Best I've had) Desk staff and nurses friendly but professional. Sometimes a bit of a wait but I've noticed that patients get the time they need once in there.

I've only had good experiences at this practice and would like to commend Dr Deirdre Stark who is incredibly thorough in her approach, listens carefully, makes evidence-based recommendations and is always prepared. I'd also like to commend Dr Belinda Beattie who is highly professional, investigates symptoms carefully, and is very personable in her dealings with patients.

Reception staff are polite and friendly. The doctor I saw seemed genuine and interested in addressing my concerns and the R.N was very efficient, caring and friendly too.

A number of reviews below discuss waiting times but these times are nothing like what I have seen before, having worked as a medical receptionist in the past. Often patients do not disclose on making their appointment all of their concerns so only a 15min appointment is allocated but they spend 30mins with doc... can you imagine what youd say if the doctor told them to rebook another time at the 15min mark or told them they can only discuss 1 problem? (answer: outrage). Not going to happen at a good doctors surgery like this one. On top of that, there are emergenices that can put the doctor even further behind (so you waiting 15mins might be docs only chance to eat for the day).

Edit: if you check their website they do say to call prior to your appointment to see if doc is running on time

just amazing service. GP's here are way much better than anywhere else nearby, especially the Taringa medical center. Doctor spent ample amount of time to try and understand the issue I had with my back; did multiple tests to ensure nothings awfully off. Additionally he was really patient in explaining what might be the cause and it even made sense. Lastly I had my blood test report I wanted to review and he even spent the time to accommodate that within the same consulting. When it comes to blood pressure one reading is never enough, especially for someone like me who never visited a doc in 4years, the doc here did that thrice to ensure I am calm and relaxed and I got much more accurate results than before.

I walked out feeling like it was the best consultation I've had and having a lot more understanding of whats going on within.

Dr Harrison provided a thorough , caring , informative consultation for our young grandchild. Nurse Deet ? was also warm & considerate & used creative strategies to distract whilst giving the flu shot . A pleasant experience for a young child. .

Dr. Kelly Watt is a great doctor, doesn't rush you and really listens to what you say. Fantastic service provided and the reception staff are really nice too 😊

Dr Nam Tran is very welcoming and listening to what you say carefully. He cares about your problems in detail and coming up with real solutions. The opposite of some doctors who are trying to come up with a quick solutions/generic answers doesnt matter if it will work or not.

I have been going here for years. The bed side manner of doctors is always great and they keep good records. The location is convenient being inside Indooroopilly shopping town and is always clean.
