51st Street - George St

If you're looking for burgers in Brisbane City but the fast-food type isn't your thing, then look no further as 51st Street on George Street has one of the best ones on the city. They have a wide selection of burgers and the an even larger beverage selection to choose from.

They also have breakfast-range food (which I have yet to try) and there are many selections to choose from.

Staff were very friendly, presentation was very good and the lemon-lime bitter which I ordered with the Mighty Manhattan Burger was in a tall cone-shaped glass which is quite unique.

Food quality was very good. It was freshly made and the beef patty was succulent and soft.

Overall, highly recommended and I would be returning to try the breakfast.

Really friendly and helpful staff, and quick service, despite it being a bit busy. Prices are reasonable for the city, although chips do not come with the burgers, which is probably OK as the burgers are a good size. I enjoyed the pulled pork bowl. Been here a few times and have always been happy with the service and the food.

The burgers and onion rings here to die for. My wife would drive for hours just to come here and eat if it was practical.
Every time we travel to Brisbane we make a stop here.
The salad bowls and drinks are amazing too.
Everything is fresh and made with high quality ingredients.
I discovered this place years ago when staying at the hotel above and ever since then it has become a regular for us.

All I can say is.... well done guys. Service, price and food was A1. Had the scrambled eggs with bacon and sour dough toast with coffees. Coffees came out well timed with our meals. Well presented breakfast, great eggs and the bacon was crispy but not dry. Friendly staff and listened to what you ordered and not assumed what you ordered. Will definitely revisit this place for lunch one day soon... thanks for making my visit worth it.

I have to work at George Street this week. Came to 51st street and had their burger that was about $10.
Absolutely smashing. I've has $25 that didn't compare to this one.
The flavour was all there. Fantastic quality, taste and great price.
10/10 will come back tomorrow and have it again.
Burgers don't need to be overloaded and complex to be good. This one was simple but absolutely fantastic taste and super fresh.

Staff were very friendly, quick service. Brisket bene was one of the better brisket bene I've had, but still can't beat the classic eggs bene.

51st was a really pleasant experience. We were there on a quiet night with not many customers but there wasn't a lot of staff on deck either. The service nonetheless was first class as was the food. The menu was quite extensive and included more than one choice of a low fat low calorie option. And when they were packing up and I asked for a coffee it was no problems. I would be happy to visit 51st again when in Brisbane.

Apart from the usual happy hour drinks, one must must must try the wings!!! Simple pleasures to go with your beverage - these guys got it right for sure! They manage large groups very well and service is always impeccable! Don't recall ever being disappointed here! The pulled-pork/beef nachos plater is a crowd-pleaser as well, wish I'd taken photos of their amazing food!

Awesome burgers. Have tried 3 types. My must visit dinner in Brisbane, this time my second night running. All elements of the burger stand alone, yet come together as a cohesive meal of real substance. I see other negative comments that are not a true reflection of the quality. When will you franchise? In Melbourne I would Travel far to get this quality.

Very chilled vibe. Amazing food that is very well priced. The restaurants layout creates a great ambiance with different areas and sections to help you escape the city life while you have a morning coffee. Highly recommend

Fantastic food and atmosphere, and the prices were reasonable as the food was great quality. Bit of a pain finding the toilets, though they do have signs pointing you in the right direction. The service there was also excellent as we were only waiting a few minutes for our fresh cooked meals.

I never write reviews but this place is unreal. Food is sensational and the staff are extremely hospitable, not to mention they have great advice when it comes to food and drink pairings. 11/10. Plus the pork belly burger is unbelievable!

Whilst comfortably located in the heart of the Eagle pier - the atmposhere is trendy upbeat and super modern. Despite looking very modern on the outside I was served an absoulutely generous and tasty honest meal ! There is 0 percent pretentiousness from the staff and 100 % pure taste from the food and coffee !

My two meals here were superb...great big breakfast, & awesome burger & fries - freshest food for very modest price & fast service Thurs lunch, Fri brunch. Will be back next time in Brisbane to try the rest of the menu 😋
