Fantastic potato scallops! Ordered 3 for $4.50. The outside was super crispy and the middle was cooked perfectly. The scallops weren’t greasy and were nicely salted.

Great fish and chips, best in the neighborhood, lovely welcoming staff. Bought my order online. By the time I came in 5-10 minutes later. Had just been prepared for me nice and hot. Server got the job done quickly. Would thoroughly recommend.

legitimately the best fish and chips in brisbane. Perfect coat on all the fish, just remember to bring your own chicken salt for the chips. Great value for money.

I’ve been to my fair share of fish and chips shops over the years and often I’ll find they have something they could improve on or some flaws like the seafood is old or the chips soggy and so on. But after visiting tipplers several times I can safely say they have absolutely nailed what the do and I can’t fault them at all. The quality of the seafood is great, the portion size is really good value and the service is excellent. You’ll never be disappointed if you go to tipplers.

The chips were soft on the inside and crunchy on the outside, light oil but not too much. Kabana was tasty and cooked through. Would definitely go back again.

I've been moaning that I haven't been able to find good fish and chips in Queensland for the last 10 years.

Today however, everything changed.

Amazing! Live up the road and love it here. One of the crunchiest fish and chips I've ever had. Never feel sick after and have a greasy feeling in my mouth afterwards, like other fish and chips. Went the other day and got a value meal for 2 just before close and they chucked in an extra fish and had a good chat with the owner (I think). Great tartare and fair pricing. Best potato scallops ever. Highly recommend

This was our first time to Tippler's since I lived in the area in uni days (a long time ago!) We ordered snapper and potato scallops for two and they didn't dissapoint. Loved the free chips as well. Everything was fresh, well cooked and wasn't greasy. The calamari was also delicious and generous. Thanks Tipplers! It's great to discover a reasonably priced local that makes great fish and chips. We'll definitely be back!

Drove all the way from the south side to eat here. Best fish and chips by far. Also a must try is the Crispy Jalapeno Fish Burger. Great servings for families, clean and super fresh. Will visit again for sure!

Friday night fish and chips from Tippler’s Seafood is becoming a ritual for me and my partner each week. We usually get crumbed or grilled barramundi, chips and coleslaw with the occasional serving of calamari. Each and every time we go there the meal has been consistently excellent and delicious. The price of the food is very reasonable when you compare other fish and chip places around the area. Would highly recommend!

The best chips I’ve had in a long time. I have been searching in Brisbane for some good chips and I’ve finally found the place. Great value for money with awesome portions. Chips cooked to perfection and with the perfect amount of salt. Served in an awesome container that made sure they didn’t go cold on the drive home! Only thing that I can fault is they don’t do gravy but the chips are so good you don’t really need sauce. Will definitely be back.

Tipplers has changed owners since the last time I visited, and while the in-store marketing, website and ordering system are completely chaotic and off-brand for a fish and chip shop we were very very pleasantly surprised! Generous portions of chips and fish, batter was perfect, not too thick or floury and the grilled fish was delicious!
I'm so pleased we gave it a chance. You should too.

Excellent 'fresh' fish and great thick- cut chips. I have finally found an awesome fish & chip shop in the local area. Tippers is a 10/10.

I've lived all over Brisbane and I would have to say that Tipplers is one of if not the best suburban fish and chip shop. I've never been disappointed by the quality of the fish, the oil seems fresh everytime I get chips and probably has given me one of the best fish burgers I've had in my life. 11/10 quality, prices and service.

Amazing fish and chips here. Everything is always perfectly cooked (fish or calamari is always soft inside with crunchy crumbed outer), and the fresh seafood is excellent quality. The meal deals are great value for money too. Definitely the best I've had in Brisbane.

Highly recommend their Calamari! Dory is slightly watery but their chips are top notch!
