Living Room Bar

My mum and I enjoyed a fabulous high tea to celebrate our birthdays. The staff were very welcoming, and were accommodating of my baby daughter in her pram and a high chair. The food was absolutely delicious and beautifully presented. It's a gorgeous venue and suited our special occasion. The service was good, particularly from Daniel, who made us feel like a million bucks. He was very sweet. Our waitress was pleasant, though could have come around more often asking for drink orders. My last coffee was really late and the wrong order. But, this was the only mishap in 2 hours. I'd love to return again.

We booked the festive high tea on New Years Eve.
And it did not dissappoint.
The food was amazing.
The service was exemplary.
Our dietary requests were obliged.
My guest & I did not enjoy the festive cocktail. While it was presented in a lovely way, we definitely felt like it had ALOT of flavours going on. And from the first taste definitely did not appeal to either of us.
I did order a couple of extra cocktails more to my liking at an additional cost during the high tea.

Whimsical, Warm, and Welcoming: A Wonderland at Living Room Bar, W Hotel Brisbane

Our recent visit to the Living Room Bar at W Hotel Brisbane was an absolutely whimsical and wonderful experience. The festive high tea with its whimsical array of sweet and savoury selections was a delightful journey. The highlight was the whimsical Build-Your-Own Gingerbread House, adding a touch of playful charm.

We were wowed by the "Merry and Bright" cocktail, a wondrous blend of Absolut Elyx, Chambord, Amaretto Disaronno, hibiscus, lemon, and rosemary. Additionally, we indulged in an extra cheeky espresso martini, which was wonderfully crafted, adding a vivacious kick to our whimsical afternoon.

Wrapped in the luxuriant and whimsical atmosphere of the lounge bar, every bite of the bespoke menu was a work of art. We were especially impressed by the warmth and friendliness of the staff, who made our experience even more welcoming and memorable.

The endless tea and coffee for two hours provided a warm and comforting touch, ensuring our time was not just delicious but delightfully cozy. This whimsical wonderland is highly recommended for anyone seeking a unique, warm, and joyous dining experience.

We had cocktails before dinner which were delicious! The service was excellent and the space is fancy but not pretentious and has a relaxed feel.

Good food and drinks here. Very attentive and helpful staff team to assist with my orders. Must try: lamb cigars and pork belly.

Chilled bar, relaxing but fun vibe and atmosphere. Such a great venue to enjoy a tasty cocktail with friends or even to go on a date, to chat and be entertained by the bar staff and waiters. The service is great and their recommendations on scotch and cocktails was appreciated. All of the staff were friendly, charming and were very knowledgeable. Would highly recommend. The cocktails are presented perfectly with garnish and ornate glassware. Fun experience and can’t wait to go back.

Highly recommend the high tea here. We had a lovely large lounge area and amazing service from the staff. The food was beautifully presented and delicious.

Went here recently for our wedding anniversary, the staff on were great, really pleasant and attentive. We ordered a selection of the small plates to share. Each was delicious, and had a fantastic cocktail recommendation. Thankyou to everyone for making our evening so nice.

Delectable high tea experience. Impeccable and attentive service, and such lovely decor to feast our eyes on. We had the Ever After high tea, which was a lovely taste experience. Will be back for more.

We had a girls catch up on this bar. We went during lunch time and we managed to secure a corner where we were by ourselves and could interact well. The staff were very helpful in helping us settle as we started off a bit scattered. The low light make it a very sexy bar that would be ideal for a date, drink and intimate meet ups

We had a wonderful experience for an afternoon tea, which is modelled on Australian flavours. The children had their own version too. The service was exemplary and the food wonderful. Highly recommended.

Incredible service and atmosphere. Great place to sit down, relax and enjoy a cocktail with friends. Staff were able to recommend drinks based on suggestions on what we were feeling. They not only tasted great but looked amazing. Very friendly and fun staff also helped us get some very nice group photos. Would highly recommend

The sunshine state high tea was extremely good value for money. We were all satisfied with the amount of the food and the quality was exceptional. Service was spot on. All the staff were lovely and checking if we wanted more tea or coffee. Want to come back and try more

Thank you so much for making us feel so welcome and special. Staff went the extra mile for my daughter who had recently injured herself with a gorgeous ‘get well’ cocktail on the house. So greatly appreciated!!! And the selection of treats at our high tea was superb. Best high tea I’ve ever had!

Very cool bar downstairs at the W with amazing service from Sophia, Alicia and Caleb.

Sophia being especially attentive, smiley and delivering everything that we needed.

Nice food as well as a nice range of drinks in a cool atmosphere but no views though.

Quite why they designed this bar to be here rather than upstairs with a view is beyond me.

But highly recommended if nothing else but the supreme happy service from Sophia and Alicia.

The staff were incredible and the drinks were not only delicious but looked too good to drink. We arrived at the lounge unsure if we were going to stay but in the end stayed for an hour or two.

Our waitress was knowledgeable and professional. I was indecisive of what to get and the lovely waitress suggested a refreshing and delicious drink which was served in a glass shaped like a bird. It was presented so elegantly and tasted exactly like what I described.

We felt so comfortable and happy with the service and atmosphere. The staff were so kind they assisted us with taking photos of our group - one of the waiters even jumped in for a photo too!

This experience made our night and we will definitely be returning soon!

The living room is lovely, servers were happy to help. Will be back.
