Central railway station, Brisbane

An excellent busy city train station! Heaps of screens above your head to track your next train trip! Escalators provided to allow quick easy exits! Lifts are available for quicker travel to the top floor! Attendants man the turnstiles to prevent in paying travelling! A ticket office is provided with assistance for all train information! Lockers are available as well as a ticket machine! A McDonald's restaurant is in Central Station as well as many other eateries! A Metro Coffee Cart is outside as well! Wheelchair access is available.

G'day Matt, Ticketing staff member. Helpful with purchase of ticket for airport with guidance on where to go. Love the big fans on the platform. Surprised it moved a lot of air which made waiting very comfortable, for a non-local.

Very clean station for Brisbane and trains always on time and efficient more than Sydney Metro trains.

Clean and tidy station. Very impressed. Toilets clean. Staff at Flinders St station in Melb could take a look here and learn. You wouldn't go to the women's loos at Flinders St if you were bursting (I did once!) The smell is overpowering long before you get close. Keep up the good work at Central. Helpful friendly staff if you need info on train lines.

Well maintained

It's completely fine for the most part. I wish that they hadn't removed the rubbish bins however since some passengers travel without bags and since food and drinks are not allowed on the trains.

Train times are pretty irregular from time to time.

Very nice and grand station in Brisbane city. Easy to get to and navigate with signs and timetables telling when and what trains are leaving at what time. I like the 60s tiled architecture of it and there are working elevators for each platform

Large, covered station (6 platforms) located near the city centre. A few takeaways, cafes and pubs on the concourse level.
Disabled access to all platforms via lifts.

Roma Street station is larger, with 11 platforms.

John from Qld Rail gave me a hand when I missed my train to the airport and told me when the next one was. He even calculated the times so that I didn’t stress about missing my flight! Thank you Sir John!!

I went there to look at miserable people's faces as they go to work. It definitely cheers me up. I wish my wife didn't take the kids.
