Very impressed with the service and delivery of Modern Group! We recently had outdoor blinds installed and the process was smooth and simple from end to end.
A salesmen was able to attend my property to quote the day of my enquiry, deposit paid and confirmation received that afternoon. It only took a few days to hear from an installer, Steven, who was nothing but professional and helpful throughout the process.
All communication was simple and effective, delivery and installation was on time as promised (within 4 weeks) and 10/10 service throughout. Very pleased with Modern Group and will definitely be using again.

I have just had outdoor blinds installed on my patio and I am extremely happy with the look, product and service I have received. From the beginning there has been exceptional service from both Sarsha and Teresa. Sarsha was able to promptly arrange for Teresa to come out and worked around my availability. Teresa was amazing. She listens and asks questions to understand what you want/need and then throughly explained the products and the benefits of them and also why certain products would be better suited to you because she has listened to what you need/want it for. I love that it’s on runners and locks into place. I like that you can have this halfway up and it’s secure so it won’t fall onto children. I like the seal across the bottom, no gaps. Teresa was also so patient with me and my young children. My outdoor patio with blinds looks amazing. The blinds have really made a difference not just to the look but for the reasons I wanted them (privacy, wind) - Thank you I love them!

Beautiful clean lines of quality. Has turned our 4 star appartment into a 5 star instantly. Made in Australia with quick production to fitting time, honestly the best decision we ever made. Had a problem area in bedroom one that drove my structured brain crazy but modern problem solved this area and transformed the space (refer to photos)

Just had our outdoor blinds fitted, definitely a 5 star service from start to finish. Theresa came to measure and help provide solutions to what we needed, gave us lots to consider that we hadn't thought of. The blinds came quicker than we expected. The installation was completed by Shaun, fantastic workmanship, we had one little thing that we wanted altering and Shaun came back to look at it and fix almost immediately. In addition to this, the the follow up customer service was also on point, just checking up on us to ensure we were completely happy, which of course we are!!! Cant thank the team enough, we totally love our outdoor area now.

Working with Modern Group for roller shutters was an absolute pleasure. From start to finish the service from all staff was exceptional. Every step of the process from ordering to installation was explained along the way. After installation there were two follow-up calls to make sure we were satisfied. And the roller shutters themselves are amazing. Aesthetically they match our brickwork and blend into the house. Easy to operate, smooth and quiet. No more noise from the busy early morning M1 in the bedrooms and the early summer morning light can also easily be blocked out. Definitely a five star product and service from Modern Group!

We had shutters installed in our living/dining and kitchen areas before Christmas last year and the difference they have made in our home has been amazing. I absolutely hated having curtains and have never been a huge blind fan but these are nice and easy to clean down with a slightly damp microfibre cloth. I wasn't sure how I'd feel about having so many panels but they're quite easy to open evenly and have been great while feeding my new baby to open or close individual panels as required. The installation actually happened when I was still in hospital with my newborn and it was so pleasant coming home into that space. The installer was great and worked around our availability.

Modern Group shutters are fantastic. Great product. Great service. Big shout out to Richard who installed our blinds and is awesome! The sales process at the beginning is a bit pushy but the end result is definitely what we were hoping for.

We had the team at Modern install some outdoor blinds to help enclose our patio. The area was essentially unusable in the afternoons due to the western sun. The modern team were very professional, right from original quote to the final installation. The quality of product used it second to none and really separated Modern from its competitors. I highly recommend Modern and will defiantly use them again in the future. A 5 star service from the whole team. Thanks again for making our patio area usable.

Modern are absolutely wonderful - makes me wish I had another roof to paintFrom start to finish my experience with Modern has been exceptional. When I bought my house the colorbond roof was Deep Ocean Blue (also called Mountain blue) so I matched everything with that. Four years down the track I decided to have the roof repainted. Unfrotunately, that was where my problems finding a painter began. No one would touch it as this shade of blue fades drastically. Eventually, I found someone who would but that meant a wait of 6 months.
However, by a stroke of luck when I contacted Modern about replacing a rollershutter, as they still offered Mountain Blue as a colour, they informed me that their Deep Ocean Blue was guaranteed not to fade (<10% in 7 years) and they would be able to paint it in 3 weeks.
I signed on the dotted line immediately. They organised a check measure and true to their word 3 weeks later the painting started - this is despite the inclement weather we have been having in January and February.
The painter was amazing and cleaned the roof, replaced all the screws and then repainted the roof (fixing 3 sheets in the process) in 3 days (including handpainting some areas that couldn't be sprayed).
The roof looks absolutely incredible and I could not be happier. I wished I had discovered them 5 months ago. Highly recommend. The sales staff (Greg and Megan) were excellent and the quote reasonable. Charlotte has been exceptional managing the process and keeping me up to date of when things were going to happen and Steve (the painter) was so careful and efficient. I have complete confidence that if I have any problems with the roof in the future that they will rectify the issue without any fuss.

I installed roller shutters on six windows to reduce noise from passing traffic and contacted Modern Group because it was a company that I was aware of. During the home consultation, I enquired about plantation shutters and subsequently placed an order for a number of panels. Beginning with my initial inquiry and through consultation, measurement and installation, I received outstanding service from all staff that I was in contact with. There was no pressure on me, all of my questions were answered and great effort was made to fit in with my availability. Both types of shutters were made available within two weeks of the order and are of very high quality. They have each have each delivered the effects I sought. The roller shutters reduce noise as well as light. They look great from the outside as do the plantation shutters (inside and outside). All shutters were installed within one day on 11 Oct 23. I believe that I received great value for money in terms of the products and service and am happy to recommend Modern Group to anyone considering these types of window coverings.

Epic experience with the Modern Group from start to finish. Every aspect from budgeting, colour selection, safety inspection, damaged roof tile replacement, project schedule and completion date for our roof renewal went like clockwork. We are extremely pleased with our Modern Group project completion along with the many glowing comments we have received. It was a great way to commence 2019.

Modern Plantation Shutters what can I say. They were fantastic from beginning to end. No stress, no anxiety. Called them they made a booking for Saturday. The lady came explained it all took measurements. Got a price. Two days later the installer came and went over what I wanted he again took
measurements, said it would be about 3 weeks for installation. It wasn’t even 2 weeks and Doug called to ask if I would be home the next day to install. I was very surprised, Doug came the next day installed th shutters within an hour and what a fantastic job I am absolutely over the moon with my shutters, it has made such a difference to my bedroom. I have to have to have a dark room to sleep, it has cut out the noise and my room is also so much cooler. Stylish and functional outdoor blind, happy also with the timeframe to manufacture and install.

We have had outdoor blinds installed to our Alfresco, what a transformation. Modern have been great, we had some construction delays impacting installation and a small ordering issues. Michael was always very friendly,informative and kept us in the loop. Going out of their way for us. We have recommended Modern to neighbours, who now have outdoor automatic blinds installed too.

It was really a fluke that we even took the phone call that day. We had just been discussing closing in back and front verandah, when it rang. Best thing ever. From start to finish it has been breeze. The finished job is everything we could ever have imagined. If there was more stars I would have given them in a heartbeat. Thankyou Modern.
