Ehden Bar and Kitchen

It was my first time coming here and I was really pleased!
I’ve ordered oysters and Lebanese chicken. Both were delicious. There was live music and helpful stuff as well.

Been here a few times Simon and his team are amazing super accommodating to my vegan dietary requirements really friendly staff and delicious cocktails! Highly recommend will be back!

We attended a private wine tasting and the host was Simon who was very knowledgeable and accommodating. The night was superb and the wine selection provided a great variety for everyone’s taste.
I can’t wait to return and try the restaurant regular menu.

We were situated in the lovely outdoor setting (there’s indoor seating too) that at first I was worried about because of the cold night, but plenty of gas heaters kept us toasty warm. Food menu wasn’t extensive but it was so fresh, hot and delicious- we were impressed. Service was excellent from our Nth American waitress and food and drinks came out quickly. Live band were very talented and as the night wore on, and fellow patrons sipped more, we also clapped and sung along more. Reasonably priced. I’d recommend Ehden fo a good dinner date out.

Two friends and I had a delightful evening at Ehden Bar and Kitchen. The waitress was extremely attentive and very helpful. The food was sublime. We enjoyed the range of wines during dinner and we finished with tea and coffee. The atmosphere is very conducive to good conversation. All in all, a definite must for a revisit.

Both my friend and I had an entree and main and all were delicious. She loved the eggplant entree the most and my fav was my main, it was a special, 12hr beef cheek and gnocchi...it melted in your mouth.
The service was also great, very friendly and so efficient. We would have had dessert but sadly we were going to the theatre and didn't have enough time. We will definitely be back!

What a joy to find this place. Recommended to us (by Terri from Rouge Hair.beauty) and it was a terrific dinner there last night.

Pleasant decor, not pretentious but very stylish. Excellent service. Excellent food, very nice ambience - a pleasure all round.

Our dinner was brilliant- from very good oysters, to a magnificent crispy squid, and a market fish (tuna cooked absolutely perfectly) and a half chicken, slaw and pickles which was reminiscent of an upmarket version of El Jannah (if you've ever had the pleasure of one of these Lebanese feasts you'll know exactly what I mean), finished beautifully with a very nice affogato.

I just want to go back there. Next time for longer, probably starting with drinks at their bar.

Don't be put off by having to pre-authorise a cc on booking; it is worth it. (I'm not sure if this is a post-covid measure or a standard practice but despite being a little put off by pre-authorisations and minimum spends flashed around during their booking process I think it may be a part of the way things are these days).

Great little place with a good menu of delightful soul food for everyone. The staff is super friendly and amazing people. Not only when serving you but also after as we were there until closing. Great place for a date night and also if your in the mood have a few drinks with your mates. Top notch! and the service and staff are GOLD.

Ehden service was impeccable and food was even better. Oysters were top shelf and the Chicken signature dish was delicious. Love our Saturday lunch and will definitely be returning. Thank you Simon Ruby and the whole team.

Very impressed with this restaurant. I had some issues booking a table for 16 people with other restaurants in the area but Edhen bar and kitchen were very accommodating. The food and cocktails were fantastic. The service and staff were very friendly and personable. We all really enjoyed our time there and will definitely be coming back in the future!

Loved the takeaway experience this evening. Food was amazing- been a while since I've had calamari like that! So impressed with the service- cannot recommend any more!! Will definitely be back. Cocktails were delicious too ;)

This is our second visit to Ehden Bar and Kitchen. We had a wonderful time with friends sharing delicious Coffin Bay oysters along with wine from a small but good drinks selection. The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming, and the staff helpful and efficient. We will be back!

John and I were looking for somewhere to dine for lunch that was dog friendly. He had heard good reviews about Ehden by word of mouth. We decided to give it a try. The staff were very friendly, attentive, and interested in making sure we ordered wine to match our palette.
We started with stuffed crumbed olives cooked to perfection, followed by veal scalloping which was Devine, accompanying beans and potatoes also beautifully prepared. The big surprise was being shown through the wine cellar underneath the building which took us back to those we have visited in France. The cellar is available for events and private catering. A must see. We can’t wait to return to try the rest of the mouth watering menu. Congratulations Ehden ♥

I love coming to this beautiful alfresco bar and restaurant, listen to some chilled out music and soak in the social buzz. My last visit was to meet a first date. After waiting at the bar with a drink the date stood me up. The very kind owner Simon apologized and suggested I order some food anyway and invited me to eat with him and his friends....now the bar and wait staff were excellent, but this kind gesture goes beyond generous service and lifted my spirits. I had the moussaka and salad which was delicious. Thank you Simon and friends for cheering me up. See you there again! And to everyone reading this, if you want a classy but relaxed place to get delicious food at reasonable prices and great service with entertainment on Friday and Saturday nights, close to the city, look no further!!!

We held our event here for 50 people last night. Amazing service from all of the staff throughout the whole night. Venue is super clean and stylish lovely quality food and drinks. All of our guests loved the venue and had such a wonderful time. Thank

Simon was wonderful to deal with in organising a groups of ladies.Fabulous venue for groups and other larger gatherings as there are plenty of open and indoor options. An airy industrial interior fit out.
The menu and wine selection was ample for us - fresh, light and flavoursome- and served promptly with a smile and good attention to our group.
Highly recommended as a great place for all and the ladies were most impressed.

I had my gender reveal party in Ehdens Cellar Room. Leading up to my event Ané, Phoebe and Simon were so accommodating of my needs where other venues lacked. Ané was my biggest point of help walking me through options that were best suited for me. They even had staff on 2 hours before opening to accommodate for my event which I was soooo appreciative of. On the day of my event, Simon and Phoebe went out of their ways to make sure everything was in order before my guests arrived, and when my guests arrived the bar and food service (and the food itself) was impeccable.. all the way through till the end. All my guests kept telling me what a cool venue it was and how I found it! Thank you so much guys ☺☺

My family enjoyed a wonderful meal last Tuesday evening to celebrate a special birthday. Despite COVID19, there was a great choice of meals and a warm vibe. Staff was friendly and efficient. Food and wine was delicious and excellent value.

We went for the oyster happy hour and the oysters were so delicious! The staff are friendly and attentive. We have been twice - the spanokopita is also delicious. We will be regulars.
