Queensport Tavern

Genuine, unreconstructed, pub. Greatly enjoyed the atmosphere and the food. 10/10 for the sound system and playlist. I know it’ll be hard to resist, but please don’t change too much.

The ladies behind the bar were lovely. I hadn’t been to the pub since I was a kid sipping pink lemonades. We even got a little tour of the original bar that was closed at the time. The outdoor event-space looks amazing for parties. Great vibes all round!

Queensport Tavern is a traditional old-fashioned style pub.
Just 15 minutes from Brisbane's CBD and 10 minutes from the airport in the heart of Hemmant.
It offers home-style cooking perfect for lunch or dinner. Meals are provided in the Lounge Bar, Public Bar or Beer Garden.
The motel rooms are spacious and comfortable with hot strong showers. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful.
Next time you are looking for somewhere quiet and comfortable for a meal or even looking for a comfortable safe place to stay, I strongly recommend giving the QT a go.

Due to a cancelled cruise and delays we stayed here for a few days. What a gem of an accommodation next to the pub. Great customer service, clean rooms, friendly staff, great pub meals, music and cold beer next door. Loved this place. Coming back when we are back in Brisbane. Highly recommended.

Great pub and accommodation for our Magic Round weekend - helpful and friendly staff, good beers and entertainment, even saw a horse at the bar!

Location is not fantastic but this is not a review on the location it's a review on the accomodation. It's clean. It's cheap and it's comfortable. Staff are polite and helpful

A wonderful 'old school ' pub.
The staff were lovely, smiling, pleasant. Not often you get smiling staff in a pub anymore. We were greeted when we walked in by ,I'm assuming,the owner.
The young lad in the kitchen was a treasure. The food was good....the chips, best I've ever had. And I have NEVER seen a pub so clean.
Its off the beaten track, it serves the local tradies and I believe has some interesting entertainment some afternoons but I can't recommend it enough.

I'm staying here for a work trip, great place will definitely be back

Came for my mate's gig tonight. Quite a unique location and surroundings. Motel lives up to its words, reviews and rating. Ordered 400g steak w/ grilled chicken topper, wedges and mash on the side for dinner. Came out in 5 minutes but was good. One bite of each and was happy to say I would come back again

Whilst it may not be a five star hotel with amenities. The staff were amazingly accommodating. Our flights and cruise were repeatedly postponed, the staff despite it being a stretch for them did their utmost to fit us in.
Polite, friendly and helpful. If you're looking for a stop over near the airport with no frills and accommodation with a great pizza in the bistro next door. I would recommend.

Maybe not great if you want luxury, but excellent if you need friendly staff and a clean room for the night

I can not say thank you enough for what the staff did Daniel and The owner of this property went over and beyond what we could ever expect.
We have a 90 year old Mom with us who has just had a hip operation and first off they only had one room on the top level of the motel which meant Mum had to walk 25 stairs which would of been a lot for her, but then the owner said they had a room that they were fixing up and if we didn’t mind sleeping in it then we could have that one which was on the bottom level. Of course we said yes and the room was amazing nothing wrong with it at all.

I can not thank them enough for their hospitality and will recommend this motel for the accommodation and the hospitality plus the food.

Excellent stay, I would definitely stay here again. If I could give it 10 out of 5 I would. Friendly & welcoming staff from the moment I turned up. Very comfortable & clean room. Comfortable bed & great shower. Undercover parking. The Tavern Bistro has great food, I loved the bangers & mash, delicious Aussie pub style. Definitely recommend.

Stayed here Xmas night in the motel. Affordable, very clean, and great hospitality. Staff were pro-active in communicating access information and organised a meal for us, which was much appreciated after a heavy day travelling. Would definitely stay again if in the area!

Great pub friendly staff good food

I've given this 3 star accommodation 5 stars because the staff are so so nice and it's warm and inviting.
It's also very clean and tidy. We will be staying here again next time we are in Brisbane for a cruise as it's not very far from Airport or International Cruise Treminal.
