Goodstart Early Learning Jindalee

Goodstart Jindalee has been my second home for 16 years and I am so fortunate to be back at my favourite workplace following the 2022 Brisbane floods which unfortunately destroyed many properties including our amazing Long Day Care Centre. Knowing our original director and a number of long term educators retired just prior to the foods left us with the necessity to build a new team and we have been so fortunate to have secured some amazing experienced educators in a time where many centres are struggling to expand their team, which now includes 4 University Qualified Early Childhood Teachers!! Our new director Deanna has been welcomed with open arms, already building our centre capacity to over 50% in under 3 months since our reopening in April. Seeing many of our children return to Goodstart Jindalee so settled and engaged in learning with such high quality, brand new resources makes us so proud. We strive to provide our community with a caring learning environment and maintain the Exceeding Rating and amazing reputation we have earned.

This is our 3rd Day care in a year for our 4 year old and has been the most comfortable for her so far. Our daughter is an explorer and she gets a lot of options here to play with and learn.I like the huge space and everything it has to offer. Her verbal communication has gone up so I can see she is getting a lot of encouragement from the Educators.She is always received with warmth when she comes in the morning. The teachers have really nurtured and helped her grow in confidence! She loves this place!!

After much discussion about childcare centres in the western suburbs with friends & colleagues, Jindalee Goodstart had an excellent reputation. We have been part of the community for 12 months & could not be happier. The director & carers go above & beyond. Communication is clear, timely and professional; the centre is always clean; children spend lots of time outdoors playing on real grass with a range of educational toys; food is made on site by a chef & varies each day & week; and the carers love their jobs. There is a sense of community, spirit & generosity here. We have been blessed to be part of it. This is a childcare centre that has become part of our village to raise our child. You won't be disappointed here.

Couldn't be happier with the Goodstart Jindalee community. We are greeted by name and with smiles every morning and afternoon. It has such a warm feeling. I think this is mostly due to having consistent staff over the years. The same beautiful carers have been there since we began 5 years ago. Each time my daughter's have moved to the next room, they have been spoilt for choice and cared for so well. Well done on running a centre that encourages inclusivity, supports families and provides a range of activities to meet students needs.

When new in the area, I looked up to lots of childcares around and this one was the only one that gave me and my husband a good feeling. We are happy with the way the director runs the childcare and teachers. The commitment and dedication. Everyone has been working in this place for many years and you can see the care and love for the kids. Highly recommended.

Gone really downhill with new incompetent director and lack of educators. No wonder all the good old staff have left and they can't find new people. Disorganised and clueless and rather expensive for a generic goodstart that offers half the facilities that upmarket childcare centres offer for the same price. Just be aware this is a completely different centre than the nice old one(due to all new staff and director) so don't rely on the previous reviews. Also it floods with every downpour and spends a substantial time closed down.
