Pizzeria Violetta

For my first experience here, this place is pretty good! Customer service was great and friendly, and even though it seemed like they weren’t very organised, it could also be just a busy Friday night that has the staff all over the place. I understand that feeling.

For starters, we had the Pane all’aglio (garlic pizza). I’m not sure what garlic pizza is usually meant to taste like but I wasn’t the biggest fan of it. I was expecting a bit more garlic flavour but I’m assuming it is meant to be like how it was. So I think this is just up to personal preference.

For our main, we had the Capricciosa pizza, which we really enjoyed. We liked the taste of the dough, and I enjoyed dipping the crust in the sauce for the chips. I personally didn’t think it was too doughy as other reviewers have said, but maybe again it’s a personal preference.

For sides, we had their Tuscan fries. I really loved the fries, it had a hint of a truffle oil taste. I’m not sure if that was just me imagining that but either way, it was great!

Overall, I would definitely come back again to try the other items on the menu. 😋

Delicious!! I don’t normally bother writing reviews but this place earnt a review! This is the closest tasting pizza to what I had in Florence Italy but here at home in Australia. The seating is a little tight but the service was so quick, the staff were friendly and the environment was nice and clean. We will definitely be back!! Knocks any of the cardboard you get at domino’s, Pizza Hut, pizza capers out of the water. Whoever thinks they can make a better tasting pizza from Woolies ingredients is dreaming and hasn’t tasted an authentic Italian pizza. Check it out for yourself and be the judge. You won’t be disappointed!

Hands down the best pizza I've had in all of Brisbane. The quality of the food was amazing. Perfectly cooked pizza with an amazing tomato base and burrata. The antipasto platter was delicious, the olives and the focaccia were full of flavour. Everything was perfect, I couldn't fault a single element. Definitely will be back.

Delicious pizza (albeit a little too much on the doughier side than we'd prefer) and great customer service. Outdoor dining on a slant, so it's slightly awkward. Will definitely be returning to try more.

Hands down the BEST PIZZA in Brisbane. Do yourself a favour and come to this place. It is a literal institution. It is worth any drive. The dough is so soft and fluffy, yet with the right crisp on the outside... The toppings, cheese, salami/ham is of the finest quality and is FRESH. I love seeing them make the pizza in front of you, and particularly love the good vibe of the staff. I will be returning with all my friends. No hesitations at all. Thank you!

Excellent gluten structure in the dough. Precisely cooked in the wood fire oven. Violetta special with provola cheese and crispy purple sweet potato was very unique and delicious. My favourite was the quattro formaggi

Hands down some of the best pizza i have eaten. The staff are extremely kind and despite the restaurant being full, service was fast and efficient. Enjoy the Italian playlist too! A delightful atmosphere! Thank you :)

Quite simply the best pizza in Brisbane. I cant really put in to words how good each component and flavor is. If you are a pizza connoisseur, you know what needs to happen: Order the margarita. Also appetizers like the arancini balls and antipasto are excellent.

Pizzeria Violetta has been a fav since it’s opened its doors. Such a cool place to be, the pizzas are always consistent and most importantly they are authentic!

Highly recommend trying Violetta, the staff are friendly and inviting. The food is unreal and I love the fitout too!

We had such a fantastic take away from Violetta. The Italian bases were as authentic as you get and they had the perfect amount of toppings. If you're looking for a beautiful wood fired Italian pizza then Pizzeria Violetta is the place to go. We had the Napoletana and Rustica ❤

Delicious wood fire pizza all cooked fresh. Located in a quiet street so never super busy.
