I haven’t been to any type of school setting in a very long time. On my trip here in Brisbane I thought I would take a walk through the University of Queensland grounds to see the beautiful grounds and stumbled upon this fun bar. It was mostly empty with just a few patrons but I could see the potential fun factor when it is at its peak. The colour red was throughout with nice murals all around. 😎👍

Best value for money burger during the promotion hours, 2 - 4 pm

Basically half price burger with any purchase of drinks..

Beef burger: buns were toasted, patty perfectly cooked, some balance of lettuce and tomatoes.

Chips: One of the best chips in Brisbane. It was slightly thick, had a nice crisp texture, and quite filling. The aioli sauce was also good

Tips: you need an ID to get into red room.

Would come back defo for the tasty chips.

I went to the Red Room to meet up with my friends from the precinct. Haven't seen them since early last year. The staff were quick and efficient. The beer was cold and the food was great. We will be meeting there again later in the year.

Quality burgers with great prices. Fries are crispy and flavourful.

A fun vibe here on a Friday night, with live DJs and cheap drinks. Beware of the screaming security woman who will yell if you don't vacate the venue before 9pm

Is student hangout bar place. Has good vibes, nice staff and good pub grub. Place to grab a drink with your buddies. Only downside is it closes at 6.30! On Fridays!!. But even then it's still possible to hang out around the lake...

Love meeting my friends here for a good time or just to sneak away on a study break to take some time out by myself. Good selection of beers on tap and grub available. Love the all the bands that play here too. My home away from home when I’m at uni!

Great uni pub. Though it's a student pub, they are also welcoming to the occasional staff member who drops by. Lively, but never seems too crowded. Walls accordion open on nice days too.

Uni bar inside UQ managed by UQ union. Good for having some beer and food with group of friends. Staffs are very friendly. Sometimes get too crowded though.

Standard uni bar, surprised by how good the food is. Go to the far end of the bar to get the craft beer. My favourite part of this place is the self-serve sauces

Great pub! Always has some sport on, great deals if you sign up to be a part of reddys crew. I've won s lot of free stuff and beer through this place.

Just here for playing pool and eating fries. But love both the food as well as the game! Nice place to have a fun & relaxed time with friends.

Nice and cosy atmosphere. Okay prices and they also some some happy hour specials. Worth to check out. *gets very loud on Friday nights

This place is just awesome. Decent food, cheap drinks, cool space, lots to do, and a great view.

Very cool venue for uni bar. Has a great protected veranda for enjoying the Queensland climate with a view of UQ gardens and lakes.

Made lifelong friends, experienced the full exhilaration of life here. Food fills you up, grog gets you drunk. Could be more redder.

Big, hearty meals and delicious cold drinks at student prices. Dance floor, seating booths and ourdoor seating. Great service too.

Best chicken parmigiana! Oh and the cheesy garlic bread! 😋🤤
