Uni Bike Shop - St Lucia (UQ)

Gear cable snapped while riding this morning. Dropped into store without appointment. Picked up bike, fixed and tuned, this afternoon. Feels better than ever. Can't ask for better service than that. Highly recommend!

The guys here were very friendly and did a great job changing the flat tyres on my ebike and replacing the rim tape. They also showed me how to get the wheels off on my own, which was really helpful. Top quality service and a very reasonable price! Thanks so much :)

Visited the shop because I had a flat tyre, there was no availability to fix my bike on the spot. However the 2 gentlemen working there was kind enough to provide me guidance on how to replace the tube for for my electric bike back tyre where I was I bit nervous to do it myself with the motors and parts on. They even lended me tools to help with my repair. Greatly appreciated and definitely recommend to everyone!

I bought a bicycle here for commuting and was offered two free services, at 1 month and 9 months after the purchase. The bike has been great and when I took it in for it's first service they replaced my front break pads for free because they couldn't get them to stop squeaking. All round friendly and great service, they also happily gave me good recommendations on bike security and lights.

Excellent and prompt servicing of my bike by Gavin. Also offered and carried out a follow up check on the new brake cables prior to a race. Beware-they are very busy, so call ahead to book - otherwise the manager gets grumpy.

My bike was in need of some TLC. Nothing major: squeaky breaks, misaligning chain etc. Mike did a brilliant job! Price was reasonable and the job was done in 4 hours. The ride to uni was chalk in comparison to the cheese of riding home — felt like a whole new bike! Gliding! Will definitely return.

Ran in with a flat tire just as they were about to close, still gave me a new tube and even gave me a few tricks how to best change the tire. Poor guy had to wait 15min longer for me to finish and give the tools back. Absolute lifesaver!!

I’m a brand new rider and everyone here is incredibly helpful. The owner bloke is very patient with a newbie and explains everything in easy to understand terms. Very reasonably priced and not after a quick $$. Just genuinely wants to help

Perfect experience in the shop. Both guys I've spoken to now have given me great advice on a variety of issue I've had with my bike. Never tried to sell me anything i didn't need. Prices on products are very competitive too. On par or cheaper than 99 bikes etc

My friend and me bought a bike and needed some repairs on the bike, that's we went to this shop and asked for help. The seller was so so nice with us, lot of advices, we are french so he helps us in the city. We stayed 1 hour in the shop, it was really a great time. And now we have all we need to ride the bike in Brisbane.

Been coming here since the start of my program and trust them a lot. The team here is extremely helpful and friendly. They genuinely want to assist you and dont try and upsell/scam you which some stores may be known for. The prices of their products are standard, (might be able to find cheaper options online etc.) but I like to come here to support them and ask questions. I've come here many times for a flat tyre/puncture etc. and a lot of the time they just start doing extra stuff without asking (e.g. changing the tyre, adding a lining, regreasing the chain). The owner also showed me how to change a tyre and gave me some tips/advice. The location may be a bit out of the way since it's at UQ but I think it's worth the trip. There's a bike shop 2 minutes away from where I live but I'd still rather go here just for their customer service and trustworthiness, would highly recommend esp. if you're a student (and even if you're not!)

Jeremy patched my bike up after the crank fell off and didn't even charge me for it. If you go to UQ and need some bike work done I'd highly recommend this place.

I have been dealing with Jeremy & Gav at the Uni Bike for the past 5 years. They are great at doing their job on advising on bike purchases and they great after sales service.
All ways helpful along with their team - most of them are called Jack !!

Fantastic service, went over and above fixing a complex problem with my Shimano Alfine gear hub. Highly recommend these guys.

My road bike fell on the ground over the weekend and had gear shifting issues. Uni bike Shop solved the problem in 30min for a very descent price. Friendly and professional.
