Amazing daycare.
My son has attended since he was 4 months old. I've always felt relaxed and comfortable leaving him with the beautiful staff at the center and assured he was being well cared for and encouraged to play and learn in a safe and clean environment.
Guadian Childcare Queen Street is always so warm and welcoming with a real sense of community - you don't just feel like another number - there is genuine care and interest given to each child.
Everything is provided by the centre and they keep us all well informed with daily activates and regular updates.
A beautiful and thoughtful daycare with the most amazing educators that I would highly recommend.

My two sons have attended Guardian Queen St for three years now & adore it! Recently, my eldest son began speech therapy - throughout our appointments our speech therapist has continued to remark at how wonderful it is that this centre is so focused on early reading & literacy. We are so pleased to have our children in an environment with wonderful educators who are so pro active and progressive with their lesson planning and activities.

My daughter started in the nursery at 480 Queen St a couple of months ago and I couldn't be happier with our experience so far. The staff are all wonderful and my daughter is beaming with a smile the second we walk into reception! The centre itself is beautiful, so much space and everything is so high quality. Love the way the educators truly adore each of the children and care for them as if they are their own. I feel very safe and secure knowing my baby is in the care of the team at 480 Queen St :)

We love Guardian Queen Street. My daughter has been at the centre for 3 years and now my son also attends. The teachers are so friendly and attentive. The play spaces are large and open so there’s plenty of room for the kids to move and play. The teachers are invested in the children’s learning and the chef makes great meals and snacks for the kids and I know at the end of the day they’ve had nutritious food. Thank you to all our friends at Guardian Queen Street!

Would definitely recommend this place to any parent looking for childcare. They made returning to work so much easier knowing my little one was being so well looked after. I’ve had nothing but a positive experience sending my child here.

Our daughter attends Queen St in the nursery space and it has been such a wonderful experience for us.
The educators are caring, compassionate, kind and take such good care of our baby girl. The curriculum is well planned and thorough. Our daughter is becoming such a social and confident butterfly, it’s been beautiful watching her grow since she started her early childcare journey with Guardian.
Welcoming spaces, inclusive, diversity, collaboration, consistent communication and genuine care for children 💜

Our daughter has been attending this amazing centre since November 2020. There are not enough words to express how much we truly love Guardian Queen Street.
The service manager/director, Megha has transformed the service in an indescribable way, as soon as you enter level 5 & the lift doors open, you are able to see that the education and care of our children begins before they enter the service itself! The centre is always clean and there is calming music as well as a diffuser which is switched on in the office/foyer which makes the transition from home to the service a relaxing experience.
The service is well resourced, this has obviously made it easy for the development of children to occur naturally and holistically.
Something that we particularly love about this exceptional service is the dedication, commitment and quality of educators. Ariel, Joanna, Manpreet, Aries, Naing (to name a few) have impacted our lives in the most positive way & for that, we are eternally grateful. Story Park posts are informative and helpful and most importantly, updated daily.
The food at the service is made by professional chef Aleksey who ensures that the children are not only exposed to a wide variety of international dishes, but that they are also consuming healthy foods. My daughter always has seconds of everything!
The only negative thing about Queen Street Guardian, is that your child will eventually have to leave (when they go to
school!).
If you are looking for the most amazing, loving and beautiful service- LOOK NO FURTHER!!!

Our son has now been at Guardian Queen Street for 1.5 years and we could not ask for a better place to be part of our village.
Even though he often has a hard time at drop off I never worry about him during the day.
It's incredible for us that we only have to worry about sending him with spare clothes and a water bottle. Guardian provide all food, nappies, hats, sunscreen. The menus are incredible and the in house chef and kitchen is located so that the toddler room can watch all the action.
I've heard from other parents that moving rooms can be difficult on children because they don't get to see their beloved educators anymore. It's wonderful that the centre often combines children at the beginning or end of the day so they still get to see their previous educators.
Guardian uses the KindyNow app which is invaluable. I can use the app to advise of absences but even better, I can use the app to book a casual day. Say your child doesn't normally attend on Mondays but then Sunday at 11pm you put your back out and need to rest the next day, rather than run after a toddler, you can use the app to book them in for Monday if there is a space.
The Storypark app is used to give a summary at the end of the day about the events of the day, with photos included. It's wonderful and so nice to be able to build upon learnings and themes and chat with the children about their day, especially when communication is still developing.
Being on the 5th floor might seem odd at first of you've only ever seen suburban daycares but the children love being able to watch the Brisbane river, construction projects and passing vehicles. They have multiple sandpits and water play areas. And equipment for big motor skill play like balance beams and jumping off platforms into large pillows.
It's never a problem that I drop him off at odd times and whenever I do, the children are happy and having the best fun.
Some of the many, many activities they have put together include: examining insect specimens in resin, making fruit smoothies with leftover fruit salad, sink and float experiments, making family trees, dance parties, lots of arts and crafts and incorporating other learning such as letter recognition into these activites. There is also lots of time and space for free play.
I truly wish I could attend and play too!

I cannot rave enough about the Queen Street Guardian! I was nervous about starting my almost 2YO daughter as she had not been in any formal day care prior to attending. The facilities are amazing! The carers are so attentive and my LO just loves going. I'm been so impressed with how well they have got to know my daughter in the time she's been there. A great find!

We couldn't be happier with Guardian - Queen Street. Contrary to previous reviews, we have had such a positive experience. We find the staff not only super friendly but very attentive to our son. The centre itself is only about a year old and they constantly change the environment to engage the children. They are always posting summaries of the daily activities on Storypark and they're always different and things I wouldn't think of at home. I get a genuine sense that the staff really care about our son and that's a comforting feeling.

Michelle, Emma and their team are absolutely amazing. They are always accommodating and put the children and families first. Our little one really came out of her shell by being here and we are so grateful! The centre itself is fantastic and the activities the children do from day 1 make such a difference to their development. Can’t sing their praises enough!

From the very beginning, the educators have been like a second family to Sophie - she still loves to go and play with her educators from Ruby (from her baby months) including Margie, Eileen, and Joan, because of the strong bonds formed then. In Opal green, she just loves her new educators Lauren, Ivy and Trojan. There are many others who greet her each day. Sophie enjoys going to Guardian each day and we are thrilled with her development while being at Guardian.

My Child attended this centre and the care and love from the staff was fantastic! They were so supportive of our needs and Tyler was always happy to run off to Miss Emily each morning. Thank you so much Queen Street, we will be back with baby number two!

Guardian has been an exceptional experience for my oldest son who has been with the centre for over 2 years. We specifically sought out a centre that demonstrated the core values of a Reggio Emelia approach to early childhood learning and this has been so valuable in our son's development. The children are encouraged to explore their interests and curiosity in a warm and supportive environment. Hugs are always on offer for those tough moments and the educators knew my child's personality inside out. Communication through Storypark has been wonderful and the Kindy educator - Shayne - is a truly gifted teacher.
Thank you to all the staff at Guardian Queen Street for giving our boy a great start to life.
