C'est Bon Restaurant & Le Bon Bar

All the dishes were cooked perfectly! Most unique entrees was the corn madeleine with caviar. Duck leg was super flavourful and tender. They also have a great range of cocktails and drinks. Would definitely be back to try the banquet menu. The only downside was there was only one toilet in the whole restaurant.

It's taken a while for me to make time to pen this review. It is not because I have anything horrible to share, but more akin to me wanting to have an uninterrupted space to share my experiences while dining at C'est Bon. I also took the time to read other reviews to see the range of complaints leveled against the restaurant in order to judge my experience versus other patrons.. I have eaten here twice and have to say that the food is impressive. It is a unique spin on French cuisine that is refreshingly bright and very well executed. Andy Ashby, the Exec. Chef/owner has really pulled on an impressive culinary feat with his reimagined dishes. To access the dining area, you have to walk through the bar. It is well-lit with an arched ceiling and it has ample seating. The fit and finish was well done. The main dining room is more spartan. The room is relatively small. The tables and chairs leave a little to be desired and in some ways could detract from the elevation dining experience were it not for Andy's execution in the kitchen. There are no white table cloths and wearing your finest attire may make you stand out like a sore thumb here. The wait-staff on our 1st visit was average at best... not attentive, not effusive. It felt like they were new or suffering from what we commonly see in the post-Covid world with respect to customer service. Our second visit was for a large group that was hosted in the private dining room/wine cellar. The atmosphere was awesome and the staff were excellent as well. Everyone had a wonderful time and thoroughly enjoyed the evening. Stand out dishes include: the duck parfait, the beef tartare with waffle (hopefully the waffles are available when you order this dish), the gnocchi, the crispy mushrooms, the fish and the wagyu. If you are a fan of French cuisine and you're interested in a new experience from an exciting chef, give these guys a look. If you are planning a special event, the staff is super friendly and helpful and will put in the effort to create a memorable event for you and your guests.

I had the pleasure of dining at C’est Bon on Friday. The rooftop bar was great for a pre-dinner drink. We were then escorted into the restaurant for an incredible and delicious 7 course degustation menu. Each course was paired with excellent wines (we had the choice of either French pairings or Australian pairings). Every course was beautifully presented and full explanations given by the lovely attentive staff. We were honoured that the Head Chef also came to explain the last two courses. Wine buffs would enjoy the 14 page wine list with some very special entries. I would highly recommend this superb dining experience!

My husband and I loved the Good Friday set menu experience. The food was truly spectacular. The service was impeccable. We were seated at a window table with the light streaming in, while rain fell softly outside. What we appreciated most though, as non-drinkers, was the substitution of the included glass of champagne for any alcohol free drink on the menu. It’s one of the most extensive selections we’ve seen. My mocktail - Alice Springs - was the best I’ve ever had. Thank you for such a wonderful lunch.

Cannot fault this place. Absolutely amazing food, service and ambience. We got the lobster tarts, zucchini, beef tartare, potato bread, gnocchi, steak, trout and potato tarte. All of it was delicious and left us wanting more even tho we couldn't fit any more in. Highly recommend!

We went to an event called Dining in the dark. It was a fun, experimental experience. Wearing blindfolds, we used our other senses, of touch, taste, and smell. It's definitely a great night out. The food was exquisite, and the overall experience was fun and inventive.

To be honest I’ve never been to a French restaurant for breakfast before. This was recommended by a friend and did not regret! We ordered the Le Crabe and Le Canard. Both really nice and hearty crepes! Will definitely return again at a different time to try their other menus.

We chose chef’s shared dinning menu for our visit. Didn’t know what we would be having, but the all the dishes were so delicious and enjoyable!! Love the presentation and flavours, definitely will return for more :)

Have had cocktails at Le Bon rooftop bar which was quite unique. High quality cocktails, lovely ambiance, but it was a little slow for service and a bit cramped. The ambience was still lovely though. Have also been here for breakfast and coffee, and had the pleasure of trying many of their pastries during their pop up bakery in late 2021. They were simply the best pastries I’ve had in Brisbane.

We've been here a few times and decided to attend their pop up event for international gin day on their terrace. The food was expertly paired with the gin and shows the thought behind the preparation, design and attention to detail with their menu process.
After the event we headed up to the roof top and took in the rest of perfect day with a few glasses of wine. The food is always exceptional and their wine selection is well priced with quality by the glass options.

A perfect spot for a birthday lunch, we were lucky enough to have fantastic weather and took over the private terrace and got to enjoy the amazing set menu, which really takes all the pressure off, and it went perfectly with a champagne and some French rose! Had a wonderful time and will definitely come back especially for a cheeky beverage on the rooftop bar.

It is a beautiful space with fantastic service. The food and drinks were delicious! We enjoyed the Rooftop Bar and had a very lovely evening. If it's a bit chilly, they provide blankets. Great place! I highly recommend it.

We had NYE dinner, which was kind of Luxury experience in French cuisine. Champagne experience made it more enjoyable. The cod and pork were cooked in a special way, very tasty. The staff were so friendly. The whole experience was awesome.

We had an absolutely fantastic time at C'est Bon!
We started with a few drinks at the roof top bar and then made our way down to the terrace dining area - both areas were very cool :)
We had the group shared banquet and it was simply amazing!

C'est Bon Restaurant is a true culinary gem. The French-Mediterranean fusion menu offers exquisite dishes with top-notch ingredients. The cozy ambiance, impeccable service, and extensive wine selection make it perfect for special occasions. The private dining room adds a touch of exclusivity to the experience. While some dishes were a bit controversial to my palate, the overall experience was fantastic. I wholeheartedly recommend C'est Bon for an unforgettable dining experience.

Impeccable food, service was excellent & loved the atmosphere on the terrace. Music wasn't too loud so we could have a conversation. We couldn't have asked for more, especially this was to celebrate our 31st Wedding Anniversary. Thank you!

Best French Restaurant in Brisbane hand's down amazing, could not fault a thing, who knew Carrots could even taste so good! Cocktails were also amazing will be back regularly!

I've been wanting to check this place out for ages, my partner booked us in for a surprise birthday dinner. Omg, the food is incredible, my partner ordered the lamb, I was jealous because I got the pork belly. Don't get me wrong, I loved the pork belly! Any the point is, the food was awesome! We'll definitely go back! Also great views on the rooftop bar!

Had a wonderful dinner, took our 7 month old (Rowan) out for his first time.
We had the shared menu, food was delicious and there was plenty. Staff were very supportive and brought out multiple mats (Rowan was making a mess, having a good time trying foods)
5 stars and recommend the fine dining experience.

I chose C'est Bon for my 50th and it was fabulous. It was a hot night and used both the rooftop bar and The Terrasse. Both are fantastic options. The events manager, Lauren was fabulous to deal with. The food was excellent and the service was very good. We booked a DJ and C'est Bon make it easy for her as well. I would strongly recommend this place for a party or celebration.
