Pizza Caffe

Honestly, this is one of my favourite restaurants on the UQ campus. It’s a great mix of affordable (especially on days when you can get meal deals), and tasty pizza. They also cater to people who are vegetarian and vegan. I’ve gone on countless occasions, and recommend it to anyone who’s craving a nice pizza.

Good traditional style pizzas with a lot of great options including many vegetarian. Not as good as it was in the 90's (since the original manager retired) but still excellent pizza. You can phone for a takeaway and take it back to your study area/office or even take it home (parking can be a challenge if you want to pick up). It.can be very busy with long wait times at peak, so if you're in a hurry check how long it will take before you order. My favourite is B with no cheese and extra olives.

Love that spicy pulled pork pizza with the extra cheese there, that’s one of the best pizza I’ve ever tried in Brisbane!!! As a UQ student, I would really recommend everyone to try the pizza here!

Fantastic pizza!! If you do anything - try the cheesy garlic pizza the one with the turned up corners - it is to die for! The milkshakes are also brilliant.
If ordering online, which I would recomend - be aware that the system automatically sets your pickup time to 30mins from when you ordered and if you want to pick it up sooner you have to say so in the comments at the end of your order.

Pizzas can be made on gluten free bases upon request and they're very good quality.

Amazing pizzas with fresh and tasty ingredients used. Reminds me of a great homemade pizza without the grease or heavy feeling that can be found with some other bigger brand pizza franchises. Still coming back even after graduating uni!

Best pizza in Brisbane! So many amazing combinations of toppings, and all pizzas named after movies, movie genres, directors and/or actors. Inspired by the location being directly adjacent to a cinema no less. A favourite for almost twenty years!

Brisbane's best pizza IMHO. Haven't tried everything on the menu because the margarita is so good. Great value

This is the best pizza in Brisbane in my opinion. The range of pizza is fantastic with an A-Z offering of delicious pizza. The crust is a thin type crust which is beautifully crisp. The venue offers a nice view over UQ's sport fields to the river, and on weekends you can watch a hockey game or two. The cafe has a good range of craft beer, soft drink and other beverages including nice coffee. The staff are friendly and provide excellent customer service. The pizza caffe is part of UQU's discount program and has a 1pm-3pm happy hour on weekdays which offers reduced prices over a small range of pizzas. All in all this cafe is probably the nicest place to eat at UQ's St Lucia campus. I eat here on a regular basis and look forward to visiting it again.

Excellent thin base pizzas, great for groups. Slightly pricey

Reliably good pizzas. Can get very busy. Secret menu item: ask for added ice cream to make a milkshake into a thickshake (50c extra).

Love this place. The I is my go to. Learn from my mistakes and order online or book a table. You can usually wing it on the day/ night but it can be busy... and you can be unlucky and have the Hutu in front of you order 16pizzas!

Pizza was delicious and came out fast! Ashley was very friendly and super nice, so was the staff working that day too. Will definitely come back

I've never paid less for pizza that was better but I've often paid more for pizza that was worse. Also, beers. Best place to eat & drink at UQ.

Actually really good. Often have decent beer on tap too. Fantastic price for such delicious pizzas.

They make great pizzas. They also have deals that make them affordable for students too. Great vibe.
