The surgeon was as skilful with the scalpel as he was with the taps. An invasive and brutal surgery I underwent, that was perfectly paired with a Belgian red ale. Truly an experience I can recommend to all and sundry. I lost many parts of my lower digestive system, but I gained a greater appreciation for the world of beer. I consider the experience to be a net positive, despite my terminal illnesses.

A great place to spend an afternoon. Excellent beer and food. Staff are also very attentive. The great qualities of this hotel reflect the values of the owner....the best publican in Brisbane👍

We had a great birthday lunch, $12 steaks, value was fantastic. The steak was beautiful. Amiee the Bar attendant was so delightful and very attentive. Amiee is definitely an asset the the place.

I am still in awe of the wide range of craft beer to choose from on tap that you don’t see anywhere else! Amazing food, friendly and enthusiastic staff, impeccable service, convenient location, cosy interior and chilled vibe. Loved all the cool paintings on the wall and the leather lounges. I attended a monthly beer showcase here and I will definitely be back next month!

Yummo! Lots of interesting and tasty beers and now cider on tap too. Loyal publican is always there and very friendly. Best part of the Piney by far! LOVE THE ARTWORKS!!!!

Great place. Relaxed atmosphere with a solid line up of taps. Something for everyone, and the guys behind the bar were happy to recommend different styles.
