Beautiful wedding at this venue today, the courtyard is intimate and private and a lovely celebration area, plus a fully functioning kitchen. Plus a wonderful book shop upstairs. The proprietor is really lovely. Don’t overlook this wonderful place for your celebration. Loved it, and I was the celebrant.

A book store is so rare, and Scrumptious Reads is a fantastic space to find beautiful culinary and lifestyle books, where you can relax, browse, and read. It also sells great locally made gifts and gourmet food, and surprise! A beautiful art gallery downstairs. The event space hosts food tastings, art & cooking workshops, author talks and dinners. Do not miss their Cookbook Club Dinners! A real gem in Brisbane more people should know about!

Fabulous little bookshop on edge of Red hill and Ashgrove Inner city Brisbane that focuses on cooking books and items related with eating and also environmental sustainability and wildlife! They also host a variety of events and cooking classes related to books they are selling! It’s in a quiet backstreet

Gorgeous bookstore, such a beautiful space to be in, you can tell the community gathering activities must be really special in here, can't wait to get into some of them! Great selection on books and also very good prices. Lovely staff, will definitely be coming back!

Awesome centre of a great community of food/book lovers. Knowledgeable staff, and fantastic service. Definitely visit if you want advice on that type of cooking you always wanted to try, but didn't know where to start :)

A unique and delightful little bookstore specialising in cooking, travel, design, and quality and beautiful children's books. They also sell local tasty treats, exhibit local artists and host events. The staff are friendly and helpful. A little gem.

Fantastic little book store with hilarious unique cards, gifts and the best gelato. The dumpling workshop was both highly entertaining and delicious. Staff friendly and cannot do enough for you! Highly recommend for a team building activity.

Gorgeous store with a wide range of cook books, lifestyle and design books. Julie runs wonderful events too! Can't wait to see what other great things are happening at the new premises.

We love this place. The staff are always amazing and helpful and filled with suggestions and recommendations but not in an annoying "making a sale" way but in a lovely "genuinely interested" way. The location is easy and has great parking and the store is well organised. If there is something you need but they don't have right there they will order it for you. Following them on Facebook is great to as lots of awesome books and ideas get posted up.

Sign up to the mailing list and Facebook pages to keep across events they host as well. Saturday mornings also see them have a select range of treats (in case you needed tempting further)
