Haley Gould is a new star of Crawford and Company! She took over my case from previous staff earlier this year where the case was freezing and no progress made at the time. What impressed me most was that she listened to me earnestly and very patiently to understand what I explained about the case. She tried really hard to find the fair solutions and always returned my calls whenever she could. I really feel so lucky to have Hayley dealing with my case. Once again thank you Haley!

I don't often write reviews but felt compelled to call out the excellent service provided to me by Rhiannon James in settling an insurance claim outstanding on our property.

With a baby due and our house on the market, the last thing we needed was the stress of an insurance claim. Rhiannon was incredibly understanding and helpful with assisting me to get this completed in record time.

I know given the situation with extreme weather and other events across QLD , that we have been incredibly lucky to have Rhiannon helping us with this claim. She was so patient, polite and professional and was able to reassure me and put my mind at ease.

My partner and I couldn't be more thankful!

It is not always the company, generally the employee that you gain an opinion on. My experience with Crawford and Company has been pleasant, great with communication and outcome. Sometimes we are also part of the problem. My experience has been terrific, all due to one lady. thanks Kelly.

My experience of their service since the Tornado is totally abysmal. Other than 1 email from them I have had to make all the contact. Normally I can't get through to anyone other than the switchboard. They always end up in getting me transferred & then being cut off. I note that the website reviews complain of similar poor service. I have been advised that someone will ring back. It is 2/55pm but not holding my breath. Next call will be to the RACQ because they nominated this company to deal with my Claim

Whilst i fully understand how busy Crawfords are after the QLD Tornado on xmas day, it doesn't excuse the absolute poor service of not even acknowledging an email. We keep leaving messages and emails only to be totally ignored. Extremely poor and really not good enough when people are stressing about their properties being repaired

If I could give no stars I would because this is the level of communication that this company provides. Many emails. Multiple phone calls to be transferred to no one. The person who answers the phone is very pleasant but that’s the extent of the service they provide. RACQ has contacted Crawford and Co to administer my claim. I’m completely aware that I’m JUST another SE resident affected by the recent weather events but could you please provide an affected household with some sort of timeline when contact will be made. After reading the reviews I’m extremely disappointed that RACQ have engaged this poorly rated company to manage their claims!

This is BY FAR the worst insurance company I have dealt with. STILL waiting on our pay out. Already upsetting enough as it is that our possessions were stolen but dealing with this company and staying stuck in limbo for weeks on end has made it so much worse! NEVER AGAIN.

What can I say that others haven’t. 8 months into a simple claim and no communication, if you happen to get a hold of your claim accessor they say they will follow up and come back to you but it never happens. How do you deal with this incompetence which surely must be designed to simply avoid processing claims. No option but to complain to the Insurance Council and legal up.

It’s no surprise to come here and leave a review only to see many other terrible reviews including those from staff.

Crawford and Co are one company (Allianz and Tallan Group the other two stooges) involved in handling my claim from the early 2022 weather events.

Crawford did a terrible job of explaining their role in the process. I had constant contact from multiple parties all seemingly doing similar things and not talking to each other. I had 4 or 5 inspections of my house all for relatively straight forward assessment but everyone having a different take each time.

Ultimately there was an issue with the assessment from the builder (Tallan Group) whereby they did not adequately quote the entire scope of work and Crawford and Co sat behind their policies saying there’s nothing they can do - bad luck.

After escalating to a dispute resolution process with Allianz the position of Crawford and Co changed and I was assigned another case manager but the time involved it trying to right the wrong and with a bunch on incompetent and powerless staff simply wasn’t worth it so I’ve moved on.

For the amount of time I’ve wasted trying to get a resolution I could have literally instead got a minimum pay job and been better off.

If you’re a insurance customer with a good history like me then unfortunately bad luck, you probably won’t get to choose not to use Crawford, the equally useless Allianz may simply assign them to your case. It’s hard to not think that even though fault was admitted, they make the dispute process so difficult that it’s engineered for the client to walk away out of frustration.

If you’re looking for employment then I’d steer clear based on my experience and the reviews of previous employees. These guys have obvious cultural and training issues. They hide behind their ‘immovable’ policies which they simply make and change as they desire to suit them. Don’t be the poor fool who wants to arrive and do a good days work only to screw honest clients like myself.

Not the best place to work. If you have a claim in your name you'll be lucky if it gets completed. All staff just talk and laugh with each other. I understand a happy environment means happy staff. But not all day every day. One guy there said to me if there annoyed put them to the bottom of your pile and that person can be the last to be seen. Employee turn over is so high people are leaving every week due to poor management and training. They will stockpile you with claims then complain to you that your not meeting expectations. If you complain to them they will say your easily replaceable which is what one of the guys working there said. Never ask questions because they won't answer them. Be careful what you tell them because they will laugh about you when they get off the phone. I could easily keep going for hours about my experience at Crawford and Company.

After many months of waiting for a update I’ve tried to get in touch and after getting no response via email and even getting dragged along then hung up on I’m fed up with it. I just want a bloody update on my claim, I’m also polite with whoever I’m talking with on the phone as it could be someone different each time but after the complete ignorance of the company it’s pathetic. My latest call to them I got in touch with a nice lady but then it turned out to be the wrong department of the company then after being on hold whilst being transferred to the “correct team” I got hung up on.

I just want a answer to why it’s taking 6months for a claim to get approved, all paperwork has been done and all the assessor’s have came out and everything.

Their staff range from rude to useless, after ELEVEN MONTHS of waiting for my claim to be finalised, I’ve been fobbed off, hung up on, had my emails ignored and spent hours on hold, I’m still waiting for the many thousands of dollars I’m owed. I would sincerely rather shlt in my hands and clap than go through another claim with Crawfords. Do yourself a favour and look elsewhere if you value efficiency, professionalism and prompt service.

Like the last few reviews, Crawford were assigned to my claim in February and they are completely inept in moving the claim forward.

It's impossible to get the person handling your claim on the phone and dealing with Crawford has made an already bad situation even worse.

It's been four months and nothing has happened.

Still waiting for my flood claim from February. Absolutely incompetent - they have asked 3 times for a list of contents that were damaged. They have asked to visit two times to assess the property damage even though I am only claiming for contents. So disappointed we have to put up with this nonsense just because we were dumb enough to purchase insurance from Allianz.
