Wynnum & Bayside Childcare Centre

I feel absolutely at ease and excited to send my 2 kids to this wonderful daycare each day, who learn, play and have developed immensely due to the genuine care and forward planning that goes into making their days different. Kat, Scotty and their wonderful team of educators are so warm and welcoming, even if the kids struggle, we are updated with photos, calls and notes to ensure we are kept in the loop. Hats off to the centre and the team!

Our daughter has been attending for 18 months. We love the centre and the staff. Our daughter has learnt so much and her speech has really taken off! The staff are all very attentive and kind to the children. The centre is maintained really well and the kids always have a variety of fun activities to do throughout the day.

Wynnum bayside childcare is honestly one of the best in the area, in Wynnum to the caring teachers and great resources to teach my little ones -and miss Sandy is very lovely teacher 👩‍🏫 very friendly I am beyond pleased with this centre. The staff are always friendly and the director, ready to help with anything. My daughter has been attending Wynnum bayside for a while now, she has made great friends and learned a lot to prepare for school. We love Wynnum Bayside and the friendly staff at the Center. We found this beautiful place when our son (who is undergoing speech therapy intervention, and assessment to determine if he is Autistic) was kicked out of family day care for being 'too hard' to manage. The environment is bright, uncluttered, and welcoming. Our little guy was accepted just for himself, and the contributions he could make. He wasn't written off as hard work. The staff in his room are outstanding. Within a week, we had a completely different child. He is happy, and while he is still experiencing developmental delays with his speech, he is thriving. He has friends, and we can go to work knowing that the friendly and loving attention the staff will help him through the day. We only wish I'd found this place when we were first looking for child care for our daughter back in 2013. Love the team, love the centre.

Have been sending my oldest son here for years now and just started my baby. Can't speak highly enough of the lovely staff and environment. They're great at catering to individual needs, not just lumping the kids in as a whole. My oldest still stops by the rooms he was in whrn younger to give cuddles and have visits with his old teachers, he developed a great bond with each of them.

Our children have been going to Wynnum and Bayside Childcare for over three years now. The oldest joined school this year so he uses after-school care and the Vacation program. The younger one is still in daycare five days a week.
Our children love going to “Kindy”. They enjoy it more than staying at home. They have active days that are interspersed with learning exercises. The programs are great for their self-confidence. Our youngest boy was very shy when he started to attend but now, in his first year at Prep, is very confident in speaking to his class—a result that we attribute to the great program he had at Wynnum and Bayside Childcare.
The staff are all fantastic. The kids love them and I think the staff also love the kids.
We highly recommend this centre if you are looking for a spot for your little one.

We love this childcare centre. Teachers are great and caring, staff friendly and accommodating. I saw the centre improving in the last couple of years. The kindergarten in particular is fantastic.

Great place to send your kids for daily care. As per normal the place has outdoor play area and good inside play rooms. Staff are good and happy and obviously take care in looking after the children they have in care. Very worthy of checking them out and seeing if you can obtain a spot for care as they are very popular.

Have been using this daycare for over 7 years and never been happier. Kids love it and staff are always welcoming and very helpful. Above and beyond always!!

Great staff!

My 2 daughters attended this centre last year. My youngest who is nurotypical had a great experience. But unfortunately my older daughter who is nurodivergent (autistic) did not. This centre does not comply with the national disability standards for education nor follows the national discrimination Act. If you have a special needs child I highly recommend continuing your search Futher to find a more educated centre that has the knowledge to cater to your child. If anyone would like detailed info I'm happy to share my daughter's experience.

Honestly a terrible centre, shows too much dependency on their trainees (student workers) and the staff are horrible and can’t handle children well.
