Was the most welcoming and inclusive bar. During fans camping for a concert across the ways they entertained us throughout the night. Was such a fun vibe.

love this place! had a few drinks here this arvo and the two bartenders there were amazing and down to earth. amazing drinks for broke uni students as well! will happily go here anytime, even as a griffith student :))

So much better than the UQ Red Room. Went here for an event and really enjoyed the vibe and decor of the whole place. Great team behind the bar as well. Hope to come back soon.

Recently crowned Australia's best uni bar - this bar never fails to deliver for students and members of the public alike.

It's great for studying in during the day with a jug of beer and a good first stop for a rowdy night out on weekends.

What a 10/10 banger of a venue; as a former UQ Redroom attendee, the botanic is infinitely better - better happy hour deals, cheaper jugs, more space, better vibes, large outside area, nice bathrooms, and did I mention you can bring your own food in. Love you all.

This place has friendly staff and good vibes. Their drink proces are not bad and they have good open and closing times. They play good music and the place is clean.

Great priced beer ($10 jugs) and drinks, with different deals going on all the time. The service here had also been nothing but great.

Great service, however, no-one has been at a pub/bar before so you'll find people lining up behind each other.

I'm not a person who drinks much, but I like coming here because I like the environment and that I can actually hear who I'm talking to

Aaah the botanic bar. What better than a cold beer after one heck of a day? It is also fairly cheap, with some cool pool contests every now and then!

Very quiet in December when the students have gone home. Nice cool spot from the city to south bank if on a crawl.

I'm security at this place on Thursdays lol haha I enjoy the crowd tho and some cheap drinks along with nice staff
