Lovesick Tattoo Studio

I’ve been to lovesick quite a few times now, for both tattoos & for the laser services they provide.
I’ve been tattooed by Lucy, and a guest artist Jennie.
Both artists were professional, kind, considerate, and made some beautiful art I’m so stoked to wear.
The vibe at the studio is friendly, and everyone gets on so well. (The music here is also really good)
I’ve also been to John at really good tattoo removal here, and the service is nothing short of amazing.
John has been so kind helping me adjust to the process of getting laser for the first time.
Always good banter too, which makes a great distraction while getting zapped.
I’d recommend lovesick for anyone who wants to experience a studio with a good energy & people who are friendly, and professional.

I’ve been to lovesick a few times now and I have never felt more welcome at a tattoo shop!! Everyone there is so incredibly friendly and genuinely nice. It’s such a nice environment to be in and everyone is soo helpful during and after with any questions I have asked. Any problem I had was fixed with no extra charge and I was overly encouraged to constantly check and make sure I was happy with what was happening. I honestly don’t think I’ll go anywhere else now.

I've been keeping up with the recent backlash this studio has allegedly done but honestly I really can't fault my experience here. Everyone is always so nice, great banter, great chats. Jeremy at the front desk is so nice and chill. My tattoo is 10/10. Everything was super hygenic and I was made to feel really comfortable. Daisy offered me a pillow, she asked me if I was definitely comfortable before starting, she told me I can take as many breaks as I need no judgements... I felt really safe getting tattood here. I came to the charity flash which was amazing and got tattood by Ella who was always amazing. I've gotten pierced by grace who is also amazing. She made me feel so comfortable relaxed. I honestly can't fault anything about this studio. Even daisy is very prompt at replying to her messages on Instagram to and never makes me feel stupid for the questions I ask.

Grace (@goodness_graceless) is an absolute gem! It was my first piercing and I was quite nervous, but Grace was so understanding and went absolutely above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable. She has a lovely, bubbly vibe and is extremely competent. Grace walked me through every step of the piercing and aftercare process and has been available for any follow up questions since. If you are nervous about any part of the piercing process or just want a great experience, I cannot recommend Grace enough!

I recently had my eyebrows laminated by Daisy and eyelash extensions applied by Jasmine which made me feel a million bucks.

I’ve had both of these services done before at other places and had previously been pretty happy with the results but WOW everything about Lovesick Tattoo exceeded my expectations.

Both Daisy and Jasmine were absolutely lovely and highly skilled at what they do. I also had a chance to chat with the lovely (and hilarious) Grace during my appointment and ended up having such a fun time with everyone.

This studio offers an extensive range of self care services that cannot traditionally be found all under one roof such as beauty treatments, tattoos, piercings and even nail art.

They also offer some alternative services that I haven’t seen anywhere else in Brisbane such as rainbow freckles, colourful eyelash extensions and nipple tattooing.

The studio is very welcoming and inclusive and is perfect for anyone wanting either traditional or alternative beauty services.

From the moment I enquired to now, fours weeks after tattoo my experience, has been wonderful!

Upon booking I was tossing up between three tattoos and wasn’t certain what tattoo I wanted. Daisy said to take my time and as long as I knew about a month out we were all good. I picked my design and was thrilled to learn that Daisy would be happy to change it slightly to suit me just a little more.

About a month out I also messaged to see if it was possibly to add a delicate little freckle tattoo design and was pleased to find the yes! Daisy would be happy to add that on the day too.

From walking in and feeling so comfortable in the waiting room to actually getting tattooed and falling asleep for a moment or two (sorry Daisy! But I’m a weird one that find tattoos soothing). The entire experience was great.

Daisy checked that the flash she had printed was the one I wanted, and upon learning it wasn’t happily reprinted the one I wanted and we were good to go. Two hours later and I was done with two new tattoos and an amazing new Brisbane experience.

My tattoos are beautiful and I’m certain I’ll be back for more next time I am in Brisbane.

Grace has pierced me a few times and I absolutely love her, she uses amazing quality jewellery and really knows her stuff! She’s ordered in a few pieces for me too and is genuinely such an amazing human that makes you feel so comfortable whilst getting pierced. I couldn’t speak more highly of Grace and I would 100% recommend visiting her for any piercing needs.

Daisy and Liv (marysmalice) have both tattooed me and they are both amazing at what they do, my tattoos healed perfectly and look amazing! They are very knowledgeable and they’re the loveliest people as well.

I’ve visited Lovesick twice now and have three more appointments booked (and more when I can!) after moving from the U.K and having some absolutely awful tattoo’s I was skeptical about trusting someone again.

I cannot explain how in love I am with the work Daisy has done. From the moment I messaged her to first entering the studio I was greeted by a really friendly man at the desk, then Daisy herself who talked me through it all.

After having a really bad tattoo done somewhere else Daisy was so patient and listened to everything I had to say before correcting it and making my tattoo look brand new.

As soon as she’d fixed my botched up tattoo by another artist, I knew I’d never go anywhere else. I booked straight in for one of her flash pieces, again as soon as I entered the studio I was greeted kindly by friendly faces, Daisy was absolutely amazing in getting the right size / angle, listened to all my little thoughts and brought my tattoo together perfectly.

I booked for three more as soon as it was finished. The knowledge she holds is incredible, her judgment is amazing and I have never felt more comfortable with someone in a cosmetic environment before.

Her hygiene and sanitation was beyond belief, she goes above and beyond to make sure you are comfortable, that everything is clean and that you feel safe.

Having issues with a previous artist over all these things it was so refreshing to feel comfortable in a tattoo environment instead of anxious. I really cannot explain in words how amazing my experiences have been and how in love I am with her work, her personality and her studio.

I’m counting down the days to my next appointment. Thank you, Daisy!

I've been pierced and had a complete piercing makeover by Grace (@goodness_graceless) and have the best piercing experience of my life with them!

They were incredibly kind and accommodating for me and gave me such a stress free environment to relax and feel comfortable within, I've never had so much fun getting a piercing before. Furthermore their professionalism, piercing practices, jewellery quality, and aftercare recommendations are absolutely flawless 💕

Would highly recommend them in all aspects and look forward to making them my dedicated piercer! Wish I found them sooner, as I've had 15 in total and thoroughly believed they would have healed and look much better if all of them were pierced with Grace 💕

One of the best studios in Brisbane. I've been getting my lashes and eyebrows and eyebrows done by Daisy for almost a year and I won't go to anyone else. I have been pierced by Grace and I have never felt so cared for and calm for a piercing before.

It is very difficult to find piercers in Queensland that pierce with high quality jewellery and I was previously travelling to the Gold Coast for my piercings as there was no other shop that provided reputable and high quality jewellery. Until lovesick opened! It is amazing to know I am going to a shop and a piercer that has my best interest and safety in mind and isn’t willing to sell me low quality jewellery or rush my piercings in order to get more people through the door.

When my piercing was ripped by a hairdresser, Grace came in on her day off to help me fix it and gave me solid advice that has helped me heal the piercing perfectly. She is always prompt with responses, even while on holiday she responded quickly with a wealth of knowledge to any questions I had.

Grace has won my loyalty with her excellent customer service and professionalism, I will never go to another place again.

Been to this studio for 6 separate times and felt extremely positive about every experience. (3 tattoos, 2 touch ups and 1 piercing). All staff have been lovely and respectful and Daisy is one of the sweetest people I have met in this industry. Would recommend 100%

Im a big 30 year old softie embarking on a large piece, the artist Andrew has designed my idea perfectly and skilfully tattooed with a gentle patient hand. All the staff I’ve met are friendly, professional and have impeccable infection control and hygiene protocols. A safe fun place that I highly recomend.
