Ban Thai Bar and Restaurant

Ban Thai Bar and Restaurant is located on Goondoon St, closer to the bottom of the street. We hadn’t been here before so just tried a couple of the dishes. We had Chicken Pad Thai and Pork Fried rice. Both were flavoursome and fresh. We’ll be back to try the Sizzling Beef, a curry and coconut rice next time 🤤

Such personalized service, delicious food! We mentioned a peanut allergy & desire for spicy 🥵 and were well taken care of. The Yum fish was amazing, as were the spring rolls & garlic & black pepper beef. Will definitely visit again!

Had a great meal here whilst up in Gladstone for work. Very timely service, great taste I would particularly recommend the red curry with roast duck. I thought the price as very reasonable given the quality and quantity.

Wow 😲! An absolutely amazing Thai dining experience right here in Gladstone? Surely not? Well, it's true. Ban Thai serves up a top notch Thai dining experience. The food is beautifully cooked and packed full of flavour, and you can even stipulate how spicy you'd like your food. Portion sizes are on the generous side so you certainly get value for money. The kitchen staff do an awesome job of making their food look appetising too. The serving staff on my visit were happy, friendly and very attentive. The restaurant itself is spacious and pleasing to look at. There is nothing drab about the inside of this place. In fact, there is nothing drab about the Ban Thai Bar & Restaurant full stop. So treat yourself, and dine here as soon as you can.

A very popular restaurant for dine in. Would recommend ringing ahead to order as a 30 min wait but well worth it.

This restaurant is a delightful hidden treasure located along Goondoon Street. Our meal included Tom Yam soup, pad see ew, fried fish, and chicken satay, and each dish was absolutely heavenly.

Yummmm, really great Thai food, very similar to meals we had in Thailand. Very fresh and great variety of meals. Pineapple fried rice was excellent and I was very happy I could alter some ingredients. My husband had the green chicken curry…smooth and delicious.
The floor staff are very helpful and attentive..great service! Had a great chat with one of the owners who stopped by each table! Great customer service! We are new residents and we will be back with friends and family. Thanks for a great night out!

Tried Ban Thai for the first time tonight, absolutely delicious we ordered the satay skewers and spring rolls absolutely the best I have had, my whole family loved the satay skewers with the incredible satay sauce and I have never had a sweet chilli sauce I've liked until tonight!.

We ordered a few different dishes for dinner and were not disappointed, every meal was amazing, service was superb and the atmosphere delightful.

We will absolutely return, thankyou for a lovely evening and meal.

We had a large table here for a family dinner. All of the meals were amazing. The service was exceptional. There was an issue with payments which we raised with the owners and they were very apologetic and rectified the issue. Will definitely dine here again

My wife and I had dinner here after just moving to the area for our first date night in our new home. The food was great I recommend the red curry roast duck, and my wife had a lovely red curry lamb. The staff are friendly and the service was timed perfectly.
