Pig 'N' Whistle Riverside

My husband and I had our Valentine’s Day dinner in the restaurant. From arriving until we left the service we received was 100% probably the best service we’ve had in a while. The food was sensational. Our starters buffalo wings and Calamari..Wings came out hot and the sauce was delicious and a generous amount of wings for a starter, the calamari literally melted in your mouth the best calamari I’ve eaten. Mains we had the pork ribs and scotch fillet steak…Again both melted in your mouth. My husband has had ribs at other restaurants and has never gotten his ribs hot or melt in your mouth, he only left the bones on his plate he thoroughly enjoyed them. My steak was cooked to perfection, I couldn’t fault it and my meal was a generous size I was so disappointed that I couldn’t eat all mine but I gave it a good try. Unfortunately because we were so full we couldn’t fit any dessert in but going by the food we received I’m sure they would have been perfect and delicious as well. We both left happy and with full belly’s. Was a perfect Valentine’s day dinner. We will definitely be back.

Great food and service, the lighting was very dim which made it hard to eat. But very accommodating for kids. River walk after dinner was a nice way to end.

I had the calamari and I have to say it is the best, beautifully tender calamari I have ever had. Hubby had the rump and loved it, cooked just the way he asked for it. Compliments to the chef.
Nice setting in ANZAC Square....just a pity the music drowned out the conversation across the table. You need to turn it down especially during meals.
Otherwise, a really nice place to eat in the city.

Has a fantastic vibe and great cocktails. Got served by Fraser and Courtney who were so friendly and funny, they really made the experience so much fun. Would 100% go there again!!

We came in for a sit down lunch on Friday (Australia Day) and were met with such grace and friendliness, it made the experience perfect.

Dianne was knowledgeable and attentive (without being overbearing), providing the perfect balance of humour and professionalism. I would 100% recommend having a meal and enjoying the atmosphere here.

It was a little quiet being a Tuesday night, but it was perfect for dinner with the family. The giraffes kept annoying me.

This place was noisy as hell on a Friday night (of course). We just wanted somewhere to eat after a day walking and shopping and expected average pub food. The food was outstanding, if a little pricier than we usually pay at a pub. Good pizza and the middle eastern salad was delicious.

We went for the superbowl party. Had a great time. We were looked after by a lovely lady who remembered us from last year. Brought us pints of Guinness all day.
Only small complaint was buffalo wings weren’t “buffalo” enough, but still delish.
Thanks to all involved for another great superbowl.

Best experience!! We will definitely be here again when we come back to Brisbane as we’re Melbourne girl’s, and I felt soooo welcomed by Riley and Vishhal. They have the best personality’s and make your experience so much better. I have been in brisbane for the weekend and this was personally my favourite bar/restaurant!! 10/10

This is the best pig and Whistle. The decor is amazing and the seats/booths are perfect. If you're city bound this is a fantastic place to lunch or finish the day

The legends behind the bar found a loose AirPod of mine and kept it safe for me until I picked it up. Didn’t make me feel like a goose for losing my stuff and no judgement when I stalked around trying to find the other one! Haha

This was our first meal in Brisbane and what a great experience! Izzy was a great waitress and she did a great job taking care of our large party. Food was excellent and the scenery was great. Plenty of food for the price. Highly recommend this place if you're traveling to Brisbane.

Great location to eat and people watch. The staff are onto it and quick to serve. The place is clean and has red padded booths for couples or groups. An enjoyable place to kick back.

We had lunch here on the 29/12/23. The services was amazing. The food was beautiful. Our waitress Dianne could not do enough for us.

From door entrance to exit was above and beyond super friendly and fernomanal service and food .. everything all together made a great day .first timers and definitely coming back ..highly highly recommend

Huge bar with a well working online order system. You will never sit dry here. ;)

Wow the food just sings. No matter what it is Kudos to the chef. Found this place through word of mouth at the casino. Nice one.So happy be back for tomorrow nights tea
