Funny Funny Korean Restaurant

My recent visit to Funny Funny Korean Restaurant was nothing short of amazing! The atmosphere was vibrant and inviting, perfectly complemented by the quick and attentive service. From the moment I placed my order, the food arrived promptly and was absolutely delicious. What impressed me even more was how swiftly the drinks were served, arriving within seconds of ordering. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, adding to the overall positive vibe of the place. The nighttime ambiance and the cool artwork and lights inside were both charming and delightful. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience and will definitely be returning when I’m back in Brisbane. Highly recommended!

Date night with my partner was definitely one we’d never forget. Such delicious fresh food. We got the kimchi pork soup and the beef rib soup, both were excellent. The soups came out still bubbling and hot. It felt so authentic. Staff are very nice and accommodating, smiles everywhere from every staff member. Only downside was the outdoor seating area was a bit hot and there were no fans or cooling but honestly I’d totally overlook it given the amazing experience I had with not only the food but with the staff. Only reason I’d bring up the outdoor seating temperature issue if for elderly and baby’s who might struggle with the humidity. 10/10 love this place. Definitely coming back!

Edit: Went back! Got the chicken Mayo & rice, the kimchi and pork soup and veggie dumplings. Everything was amazing, service was amazing as always. Big welcome bigger farewell. Love this place definitely becoming a regular.

A chill and cozy place. I tried to go for a late dinner and soju. And have tried their Chilli Rice Cakes / Tteokbokki and asked to add some cheese on top, then Bibimbap with 2 different meat or flavors like spicy pork and beef bulgogi then Yogurt Soju to cap it off.

Stopped by for a quick plate of dumplings and kimchi, am looking forward to

This rates in my top five Korean restaurants in Brisbane. The food is delicious, I was most impressed with the fried dumplings, only to be surpassed by the double fried chicken. It was crisp and had crunch, yet was tender inside. The sauces were perfect for the amount of chicken served. I would easily recommend Funny Funny for those wanting a great night out .

Awesome atmosphere, the food and drinks came out exceptionally fast even though they were fully booked. Big smiles on all the staff as they looked to be having fun! All the dishes were delicious and very decent sized portions for the price.

Funny Funny has an inviting vibe for a laid-back meal with friends. They stay open late, making it the perfect spot for those spontaneous cravings. Whether you're a foodie or just looking for a chill place, Funny Funny is a great spot.

Lively place, excellent for group dining. Would recommend the cheese pancake with honey and kimchi hotpot. I love this restaurant and could eat here every week (,: About $22-28 per person on average.

Went to dinner with 2 others all meals were very nice. Service was good. Toilet was clean. Cant complain at all. Several vegetarian options too. Was initially concerned about reviews but glad we decided to try for ourselves will definitely be back.

Very good service even it was quite busy, dishes were just wonderful, especially fried rice and raw beef, I believe that this restaurant could be in top 3 in city, speechless.

Love the fish egg soup. Dont try spicy fried chicken if you can’t eat spicy food cus it’s sooo freaking spicy. Good vibe and good for friends gathering :)

A good choice for western-tastebud-friendly Korean food.

Can recommend the seafood pancake, spam-fried-rice, fried chicken and a few of the drinks (pictured). Staff were pleasant and you get a little button to push if you need something.

Dinner for 3 with drinks was about $100.

I visited with a group on a Friday night. It was my first visit.
The staff were very nice despite it being busy. I can't fault them.
I like that ordering and payment is made individually by QR code. Eating in a group is much easier this way.
The drinks and food were delivered reasonably quickly in the circumstances of how busy it was. I enjoyed what I ordered.
It became very loud which is to be expected. I don't find fault in that.
I recommend Funny Funny to others.

Bloody amazing! We ordered half and half boneless chicken (sweet chilli and garlic) with melted cheese as a side. Also came with two sides which really balance it out. The cheese is the best melted dipping cheese I've ever had omg. Me and my partner are from Sydney and had a super tiring day out; got it delivered to our hotel all together cost around $40 Very much worth it, so filling. Love it ♡

Atmosphere was great, food arrived prompty and it was all bloody delicious. Hope to continue that kind of experience here. Coming back soon with an army.

Really love the food and service at this place. I used to dine at their previous location and was disappointed when it was no longer there. Am extremely pleased that they have now reopened at this new location! Service is still top notch! Waitresses came around to check on each table regularly, ensuring that customers had enough water and asked if everything was alright or if we needed anything. Had the kimchi jiggae, packed full of flavour, extremely satisfied! As I walked to the cashier, they were attentive enough to know which bill to prepare without me saying anything and showed it to me with some mint sweets on top. Haha! Thank you! I hope many others will enjoy coming here too.

Awesome place for a late night meal! Very chilled vibe, friendly staff with attentive service. Late at night it's hard to find a nice healthy meal after 10pm. After I finish a workout at the gym Funny Funny is definitely my go to for a post workout meal. For $15.80 this Bulgogi on the hot stone plate with rice is great value! The portion size of this dish is large, has plenty of fresh ingredients and excellent flavour!
