Thai Queanbeyan Restaurant

Absolutely beautiful food! The fried rice was next level, lovely garlic pepper beef, got take away and it was packaged perfectly. Would recommend!

It was a dinner and show! With the queanbeyan show fireworks starting during main course! And us seated right at the front window. Turned out to be a wonderful dinner for two!

Went there for dinner with a friend, and the service was friendly and efficient. The restaurant owner/chef is a wonderful lady! Lovely to convers with and makes brilliant meal suggestions.

ENTREE - MAIN - DESSERT

ENTREE - MIXED ENTREE.
- Satay chicken skewer, curry puff, fish cake and spring roll. Served with a side of sweet dipping sauce and garnished with shredded carrot.

We had a mixed entree each. It was delicious and helped temporarily sate the hunger cravings from a day of skipped lunch. Me being me, enjoyed every last bit (except the bamboo skewer) including the sauce left drizzled over the shredded carrots.

MAIN COURSE - MASSAMAN BEEF & PAD SEE EIW
- These two main courses are a hit! My friend ordered the PAD SEE EIW, rice noodles in sweet soy sauce and egg with added seafood to it. Which is their regular favourite and had hoovered it up before I had even finished my main. It was just that good!!!

The MASSAMAN BEEF i ordered was upon suggestion from the owner. It came with a side of fragrant and soft fluffy coconut rice. The portioning was just right! The potatoes were the right balance between soft enough to melt in your mouth, but not crumble from your fork. The beef was so juicy, tender and full of flavour!! And the sauce was an absolute flavour sensation of sweet and savoury too! Garnished with generous sized peanuts.

Unfortunately I did not think to do the typical foody thing and get a photo of each meal. However and did get a picture of the dessert which had me at wow!

DESSERT - STICKY RICE MANGO
- Freshly sliced mango pieces, sticky rice, varied fruit garnish, side of cream and ice ream and drizzled with a coconut cream that had a subtle saltiness similar to that of a salted caramel. The sticky rice is served warm and had a level of sweetness that was there but not overpowering, mangoes were juicy and sweet, the coconut drizzle was just "mwah" and the sides of cream, icecream and varied fruits added to complimenting the main parts of this dessert perfectly.

At the end of it all finally, the pricing is decent and nearly had to roll ourselves out the front door from almost eating too much! 🤣🤣🤣

This Thai restaurant offers AUTHENTIC food that has a wonderful "made with love" homemade feel to it. And is evident in the first bite!

Not the generic type that one has come to expect over the years.

Myself and my partner visited here on a weekday. Amazing and fast service and the friendliest waitress we've ever encountered. Inside is very clean and nicely decorated with modern touches. Green Thai curry the absolute BEST we've ever tried along with the Phad Thai. Best Thai we've had ever - meals are huge and worth the price as top quality, flavour and presentation. Highly recommend for authentic Thai lovers.

Food was fantastic! So much flavour, and nice fresh vege's. Big variety of flavours. Not one bad dish, and we had 6 different dishes. Great experience. Super helpful staff. Highly recommend.

We had a very pleasant dining experience with our extended family. We chose to come here for dinner based on the highly recommended Google reviews. We made an online booking reservation for our group of 13. The seating, decor and quiet atmosphere was impressive and great for our large family group to seat altogether. The customer service from the waitresses was warm and friendly and they attended to our broken glass situation quickly and calmly and generously replaced some of our meals that the glass had landed in without hassel. Our most favourite dishes we ate were the beef massaman curry and lemongrass chicken stir-fry. My only negative was that our order of 3 coconut rice came as one bowl to serve three people, so we had to order another bowl of 3-person serving. Everyone enjoyed their meals and experience and would come again.

This is a wonderful local restaurant. The food is always excellent. We come for dinner at least once a week and they always make a point of greeting us and remembering our names and preferred order. The team here is absolutely beautiful 😊

My partner and I eat here often with family and even regularly get takeaway from them. We absolutely love their food and their restaurant is beautiful. I would definitely recommend their food as it is reasonable priced, flavoursome and well portioned.

We had a nice meal, duck curry, pad thai, pho beef, and laksa. Not the best pho I've had but hey, it's Vietnamese food, not thai. The other food was great. Service was great. Nice atmosphere. Good selection of Thai beers too. We booked online and preordered our food. The food was on the table within minutes of arriving. Which is awesome when you have fidgety kids 😊

Spicy past Thai prawns is my favourite, I often get the same. My other choice would be the seafood laksa. I usually go with a crowd of 8 or more, always looked after.

This is our favourite place to dine in Queanbeyan. Always delicious, fresh food with fast and friendly service. Plenty of spots to dine in (even when it's busy) and a great place to enjoy the takeout from, too. We love the value for money for all the dishes and we've never not enjoyed a dish we've tried here.

We have just moved to the area and couldn't decide which Thai in Queanbeyan to try, we ended up in here because it looked the most ambient from the Main Street. It was a week day but there was a few tables full and many people collecting take aways.

The food.......we got a mixed entre which came promptly. After this we had a beef massaman curry which is probably one of the best I have ever had in terms of meat quality.....big chunks of slow cooked beef. To accompany this a chicken pad Thai which was just as tasty. Great service and for a good price!

Love this place. Havent been for over 6 months and have missed it. We started with deep fried calamari. It was crispy outside and perfect on the inside. Also had money bags which had fabulous taste of coconut and chicken. For maons vegetable laksa so tasty and fragrant. The fresh vegetables made it a bright dish. Not overpowered with chilli or noodles. Red beef curry was deliciously flavoursome and spicy. The meal was overall excellent.

One of those surprise hidden gems. Who would've thought you'd find a great Thai restaurant on the main street of Queanbeyan?!

The char kway tew is a personal favourite, but every dish I've tried has been delicious and authentic.

My husband and i try and go at lease once a fortnight its the best Restaurant in town. The food is amazing, the staff are so friendly and very quick service , one of the dishes we have had is the soft crab which is just amazing.
