Biked - Cairns

This was an outstanding experience. We were totally looked after by Vincenzo and the team at Biked Cairns. The ride across the Black Mountain range and Bump Track was challenging and fun and the bikes provided were excellent and up to the task.

If you are a thirsty rider, take your own hydration pack as the water bottle provided is a 500ml. Recommend you take your own snacks too as the snacks provided depend on the guide and may not be to your dietary needs.

The ride is about 4 hours / 40kms long with some significant climbs, but with ebikes the pain is taken away. The final downhill on the Bump Track is very steep and technical in parts.

Vincenzo rode with a GoPro and filmed us riding and it was a nice addition to the ride to receive it a few days later.

I would highly recommend this experience to those who like adventure, rainforests and are confident riding on fire trails on mountain bikes.

I experienced 3 awesome days with Biked-Cairns. Smithfield, The Bump Track and Davies Creek MTB Park. Vin the legend was great company and also shared some helpful tips along our adventure. I’ll be back to ride Atherton MTB and can’t thank the team at Biked enough for the professional service provided.

Met up with Vincenzo for a full day guided tour at Atherton MTB park. Provided with helmet, gloves, hydra-pack and almost brand new e-bike (Norco 29-niner full suspension).

We planned the trails we were going to do together but biking with a guide that knows the trails is so much more enjoyable. Vincenzo was great!

The trails were mostly hard-packed single track blues with light forest canopy and some sections with denser rain forest.

We biked a little under 3 hours in the morning and tackled the longer climbs before coming down to Atherton for lunch. The town is only 20 minutes ride from the trail head which is nice.

Vincenzo brought us to a nice burger joint. Went back to the trail head after lunch and this time did an easier climb and fun flow trails on the way down.

I would highly recommend to any mountain biker that travel to Cairns. I would have biked Smithfield too if schedule permitted.

We did 2 days riding with Biked. Both days we hired E bikes and had staff lead the tour. Our experience dealing with them was outstanding from the initial customer service to arrange the tours over the phone and email to the staff that helped fit us out and lead the bike ride. They gave us tips, filmed sections of the ride and were very friendly. We will be using this company when we return next year on our holiday.

Everything went smoothly from the moment I called to inquire till the moment they dropped us off after our amazing mountain bike ride through the forest! We were beginners and with Vin, our incredible tour guide, we always felt safe! Always encouraging and giving positive feedbacks and good advices as we rode along!

Half Day tour at Smithfield. Quality e-bike provided and excellent experienced tour guide Vincenzo. Plenty of very cool trails of varying ability, and beautiful scenery. Was provided with a video of highlights of my day, which is a nice touch. Would love to come back again at some point and would recommend any of Biked tours based on my experience.

Having 3 months of long service leave to ride my bike around North Queensland meant I was going to rely on knowledge of local tour guides whilst travelling in the region. My experience over the last few weeks working with Biked has been splendid. The whole team have been professional and supportive whilst booking multiple tour days, catering to my custom route requests and providing solutions when figuring out which size bikes fit me best to ride, carrying extra batteries, etc.

Vin, Nichole and Courtney (and others I'm sure) have been wonderful hosts and have made this time of long service leave truly memorable. You can 100% trust them to help figure out how to best ride the tropics on two wheels.

Our family (2 adults and 14 + 12 year old) hired e-scooters and had the most fantastic time winding our way down the bike paths to Trinity beach where we enjoyed lunch. The staff were so helpful with information and so gracious when we came back a little late. I would recommend allowing 3-4 hours to really enjoy your time and explore around. Thanks Biked for a lovely day.

Yeah ... finally rode the 45km Black Mountain Range arriving in Port Douglas for lunch.
The ride was a dream come true ~ 1yr in planning before completing.
The adventure, views, new experiences along the ride were amazing. An adventure I really enjoyed and encourage others to take the journey across the Black Mountain Range, famous Bump Track and riding on the beautiful 4 mile Beach into Port Douglas finishing at Hemingway's for lunch.
Vin and Nicole accompanied me on my journey. They were awesome. Made me feel very special and they were very attentive to my needs learning the technicalities of an ebike!
Well done 'biked' for organising my adventure, your awesome staff and look forward to doing it all again soon. Highly recommend this ride!

Needed to hire a MTBto check out Smithfield with only limited time. Booking the Norco Sight was easy and they were ready for when I arrived. Clip in pedals fitted, grabbed a helmet and hit the trails after some great trail advice.
The bike worked a treat, definitely well maintained, had no issues, had a lot of fun.

We did the guided tour and it was the best trip we did in Cairns. Did the trip with my son (12 years) and had an awesome time. The bikes were amazing, the ride was the best way to see the rain forest, the guides were brilliant and the overall customer service was totally top notch. Not cheap but worth every penny, could not recommend highly enough.

Great service for bike hire for the day around Palm cove and surrounding beaches. Local owners running a genuine friendly store with great advice to make the most of the day. Also have little chair attachments for the front or back for the bikes which are great for the young ones. This was our little one‘s first time and he loved sitting at the front. We used the cruiser bikes and were perfect to cruise to Kewarra beach and Trinity beach. The mountain biking is World class at Smithfield if you want to go bigger and worth considering if you have time.

High recommended. We were a family group of four (mostly novices but a mix of skills and confidence levels) wanting to experience Smithfield MTB Park for the first time. Bikes were excellent. Kayla was fabulous help with the booking and Alex was an awesome guide; kept us all safe and challenged despite our different appetites.

Highly recommend Biked Cairns! My partner and I had a lot of fun on our half-day tour. Vincenzo is a fantastic tour guide and super friendly. If you've never done this sort of thing before - give it a go for something different.
