Love Italy Restaurant & Bar - Surfers Paradise Beach

We just want to thank the Love Italy for the wonderful meals, cocktails and most of all the lovely and efficient staff.

Our waitress was lovely, her name was Kirsty - Kirsty super efficient and able to engage with both my bf and I. We also noticed she did this with every table she served - genuinely interested in people. My partner and I loved that.

The food came out reasonably fast for how busy the place was and it was beautiful!! The cocktails were also on point!!

Would definitely recommend Love Italy!!! The 5/5 stars is literally because of our amazing waitress!!!

The vegetarian options that were available were really great! The food was very much comfort food, and it felt like home made! That was what was needed during a trip, so i very much enjoyed the cozy atmosphere and the cozy food!

A lovely find in the outside of the Paradise Centre. This is great, authentic Italian cuisine at its best. The servings are generous, especially the pizzas. The store is open, bright and cheerful. A great place to have a meal with friends or do some people watching. The staff are friendly and attentive. They are very happy to adjust meals to suit your preferences. Food is fresh and served quickly. You are welcome to linger if it is not too busy, allowing for a lazy meal and conversation. I would recommend this lovely restaurant to anyone who is looking for a great meal.

We came here mid afternoon for a late lunch, and were surprised to find such good pasta and pizza. This place is open through the afternoon as well, and we can imagine it would be very busy as a watering hole at night

We had the Arancini Balls, Fusilli Pollo E Limone, Fettucini Gamberi, Lemon Lime and Bitters and, for the child within me, Sweet Potato Fries.

I don't often eat Italian as I have previously been disappointed. I prefer a cream based pasta over tomato sauce based, and I have found on too many occassions the flavour just isn't there. We took a chance on Love Italy and are pleasantly surprised.

First of all the staff are friendly, efficient and pleasant.

Second the atmosphere was good; Love Italy has a rather quirky, in a good way, feel to it, from the lighting, which had a spidery feel, to the ornaments and signage, and right down to the wobbly looking dishes. The only downside was the busker outside seemed to think he was there to entertain everyone within a 3 mile radius, i.e. he had the music a bit too loud for conversation inside; but that is not the fault of Love Italy. Shortly after we left, he packed up and a woman with a great singing voice started up, she would have been an addition to the atmosphere if we had been dining about 40 minutes later.

Most importantly the food. The Arancini Balls are very much what I would have expected, crisp, tasty, and generally pretty good. Fusilli Pollo E Limone was my dish and the tomato and lemon added a nice subtle flavour. I like a bit of sour in my food and would have liked a bit more lemon as well as more fresh tomato, but it was a quality meal. The prize however goes to the Fettucini Gameri that Tina ordered, it was flavoursome and the pasta was silky. Tina was worried about how hot the dish was and the waitress advised some people are surprised by the heat, and she then suggested the chilli could be served seperate so Tina could use it to her liking. Good idea from the waitress and a lovely meal. As mentioned above we also had a side of Sweet Potato fries for the child in me, and that was crispy and just about perfect. Even the Lemon Lime and Bitters had a good amount of bitters, just the way we like it.

Amazing vibe for dinner, we had a big group and guys were super fast with service. It contributed to my trip to the Gold Coast. The theme is also classic Italian... Vegetarian options are tasteful, and had pretty good portions.
Fusilli Funghi, a creamy based mushroom pasta is a must try, and delicious.

Food came out so quick and was delicious! Kids menu was very good aswell. They had plain pasta and pizza options for my fussy boy which is a big win.

This place is our family's go-to restaurant every time we visit the GC. The last time we stayed at Surfers for a week (mid-February 2024), we had three meals there, one dine in and two takeaways. The staff were courteous, the portions were good, and the prices were reasonable. And the food - well, we have not been disappointed with anything we have ordered from Love Italy. Pizzas, pastas, salad, calamari, and drinks were all very good. Love Love Italy. ❤

Delicious! I wish this restaurant was closer to home for us. Will definitely be coming back whenever we are back on the GC. Service was great and it wasn't too noisy despite being busy. Food came out so quickly too.

Great place for pizza, drinks and dessert. We went during the evening rush however found a place promptly thanks to the courteous staff. Being new were not sure what to order hence asked for recommendations and were lucky to be served by Kevin who willingly adjusted the order to suit our palate. The pizza was delicious and so was the tiramisu. Thanks to Kevin for the amazing service!!!

The restaurant was busy, which we always say is a good sign.
Junior was fantastic having some fun teaching my husband how to say bruschetta!! Service was great. Food was fantastic. I would recommend this place for some great Italian food

Had a late lunch with my mom today and the food is so delicious!! The last time here was before COVID and it is still as good as usual.

I don't usually leave reviews, but this place deserves one. Mainly because of the staff. The food was good. But the staff really made this place. All of them were friendly and great but especially Kirsty! She was just amazing. So attentive, lovely and always friendly. It's been a long time since I've experienced such great customer service! Thank you!

This restaurant was inviting, warm and welcoming. The staff were friendly and happy to help. The food was excellent and so reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend.

The food was really good, and the portions were huge - definitely worth the money! We tried the creamy carbonara and prosciutto pizza, and they were superb! I especially loved the tiramisu since I'm a huge fan, but I think it could be even better if the bread soaked more and if there was more cocoa on top. Also, I think serving it on a plate instead of in a small jar would make it even better!

Beautiful restaurant in Surfers Paradise! Right near the beach but also far enough to feel cosy inside. Quality of the food is a 10/10, flavoursome and generous quantity! My partner and I loved it!! Highly recommend if you’re looking for something wholesome and hearty!!

Awesome food and a great location. The pizza base was light and crispy. You can tell its handmade and not like the premade bigger chains. The flavours in all the meals were exceptional. The margharita pizza and paata carbonara were favourites. Simple meals cooked to perfection! Been here a few times and never left disappointed. The staff are very friendly and attentive. Will definitely keep coming back!

We love this place!!! This is where we eat when we are in Surfers Paradise. The pizzas are amazing, just taste so fresh and the dough is amazing. They make their own pasta too, it is so nice! Service is always fast and the staff are friendly.
