Local Burleigh

A must visit…. Having a high standard for quality and a family who needs GF food can be disappointing…. But this place delivered on all. The coffee was excellent. I didn’t get a pic of the almond LM coffee…. The crema was fantastic… smooth and not burnt.

We shared the broccoli bites and had a burger each. Great range of vego and vegan options. You can only order cocktails from the QR code and there are no mocktails on the menu but the guy at the bar made us a couple of amazing mocktails when we asked. The food is simple and delicious and came out quickly.

Almond milk coffee wasn’t too much to ask and they even crafted it beautifully. Really enjoyed the rich aromatic coffee. Chia pudding was a delight, both to look at and to eat. Presentation all-around was 10 out of 10. Bathrooms were clean and in good condition as well. Very comfortable booths out the back in the sun.

We really enjoy the food, atmosphere and the staff. Everyone is so friendly and when I asked the chef what steak I should be having, he gladly explained his reasons.
He also told us about being able to watch the AFL so we were back there the next night. Such a friendly place and we enjoy it immensely

We had mother's day breakfast at the Local with a large group of people. There was kids as well as prams and there was alot going on. The staff were so great and brought all orders out of coffees and food correctly and efficiently. Highly recommend with big groups. The food and coffee was great!

Really loved my visit at Local in Burleigh - it's in a great location, service polite and quick (order inside or via QR code), they were flexible with substitutions on my order (swap bacon for halloumi) and they have a water station with sparkling and still filtered water. The vibe was good, the place was bustling!

The only thing I would want improved was the Bloody Mary - it was bland and not very tasty but Ithe bartender might have had a day off!

Here with a group - 7 people. Wide range of menu options. Steaks great and also daily specials. Service 2X friendly. Everyone enjoyed their meals. Risotto as good as Rome! Come here and enjoy. BTW - it’s dog friendly

Lots of seating options. Absolutely love the innovative menu for breakfast. So hard what to choose that I’ll be back for more! Love that I can get my sticky chair from here and can have sparkling water from tap. It ticks all my boxes :)

Tried out have Breakfast here and it ticked all the boxes! Chilli scrambled eggs very tasty. Great atmosphere sitting outside in the garden booths. Friendly staff. 3rd party confirmed coffee is good to.

Great bar with lots of tables, assortment of drinks including their own home brew delicious ginger beer. Good food menu too. Nice place to meet friends or just people watch....

My experience was great from start to end. I booked a table but didn’t quite like, so we were offered a booth. Very comfy btw.
I ordered an aperol and it was made perfectly. We ordered the charcuterie board and the chicken, food was delicious and the portions were pretty good for sharing; definitely worthy of your money.
Special mention to staff: even though there’s no table service (which is what i like), staff was great: friend, approachable and foremost helpful and attentive. You can tell they have fun and enjoy doing their job.

Loved it! Will 100% be back again soon. Good for so many different occasions whether casual or dressy. Live music was an awesome addition to the atmosphere and the food was 10/10

Excellent food. High quality ingredients, beautifully presented. Best Bircher muesli ever. Comes with a watermelon and mint consommé.
Hubby had poached eggs - quality eggs.
Will definitely be back.

Fantastic breakfast on New Years Day. Busy vibe we had booked a table and given the barstool chairs around a small table for 4.
Before we the meal came were were grateful to be offered the booth area to eat which was fantastic.
Zucchini fritters with tabouleh was delicious,the soft shell crab with a chilli oil was great. All round it was really good. The only thing I would mention was the music was too loud so having a conversation with our friends was difficult.

Good clean atmosphere the vibe was friendly, we had lunch here everything was great salad was tasty not boring. Beers were cold. Staff were all great 😊

I chose Local Burleigh to celebrate my birthday and had the best time ever. The staff were so helpful and kind, food was excellent (we tried different plates and everything was delicious), the music and drinks (mojito is my favourite). My friends and family loved the energy and everyone enjoyed the place. Well done Local Burleigh 🤘 highly recommended! Thank you.

Visited here for the first time in February 2024. Lovely new modern fitout, with 3 seating options. At the front overlooking the street, inside which includes large booths perfect for groups, and the beer garden out the back. Other reviews commented on how good the food is, we agree. Was outstanding and you can see the staff really care. The only downside the prices are exy especially drinks, but guess not surprising for this location and trendy fitout. Well done to the Local team.
