The best FRESH seafood and fish and chips on the Gold Coast. We had the battered salmon with chips, garlic butter and octopus wasabi salad on the side. Have previously tried the salt and pepper calamari which is incredible too! We had already dug in before I took the photos here. Not too greasy like other fish and chips here on the coast, delicately cooked with a Japanese twist. The best!!

Miki is a culinary genius and not only is this shop a rarity in its speciality seafoods but it’s only gotten better and better over the years. I was a seasonal customer but I find I’m becoming a regular as the quality is markedly better than other sushi/sashimi franchises that don’t put the same care in sourcing; preparing fresh seafood as it should be. The value for such products is comparable if not better than competitors so if you appreciate real seafood with good service I highly recommend Sashimi Factory.

You’ve got the bakery and coles/Woolies nearby too which is a bonus.

I had the deluxe sashimi and fried prawn, omelette and rice. Taste was so delicious. Service is nice as well. ❤👍

Fresh delicious sashimi at reasonable prices.
The tempura battered salmon was amazing!
Chose to dine in, great presentation with nice touches of complementary wasabi, bottle of soy sauce, chopsticks holders. The tempura salmon also came with tasty tartare sauce.
Definitely coming back here again 👍🏼

The sashimi and sushi are great, there's only 1 staff is working so it takes time to get our order. But the staff is really nice and friendly, he mentioned that it will takes time, since he is the only staff.

Happened to stay in Gold Coast for one night. Found this wonderful small take away shop and it’s a true gem! I’m amazed by the variety of fish they have and they were really fresh too! Very good value for money compare to going to a fancy Japanese restaurant and you can’t even get sashimi as fresh as they provided. The staffs are nice and friendly as well. Miki you definitely out done yourself! Highly recommended and will definitely come back again!

Excellent little fish and chip and fresh Japanese style seafood. The fish and chips pack was very nice, not too oily with a nice and crisp batter. Salt and pepper squid was lite and fresh. Nice selection of sashimi grade seafood and small cold salads and seafood dishes.

The seafood is so fresh and delicious and the service of the stuff is friendly.
I love their Fish and Chips as well.
It’s crispy outside and soft inside.

I had the batter snapper and chips for $12.50.
Both the fish and chips were great. The homemade tartare sauce that comes with it was awesome, best tartare I’ve had. Definitely will come back again.

Best fish on the Gold Coast. Nice people and service too. I always come here and everything is cooked fresh. It takes about 10 minutes to cook the fish grilled or battered.

We have been eating at Sashimi Factory at least once a week ever since we discovered it. The sashimi is top notch and value for money. The other dishes, eg mussels and prawns are highly recommended too. Miki (owner) really knows his seafood well!

An unsuspecting shop that puts on a big show, literally on Saturday with the tuna. Sashimi has been excellent, love the fact that you can get “shimesaba”, “misozuke” and off cuts for stock. We are regulars now...
