Have been in for coffee, also had some apple slice there which was beautiful. What I liked the most is the friendly atmosphere the lovely person that was there treated everyone so respectfully and like old friends. Definitely where I'll be getting a coffee when in the area.

What a treasure Anthea is, so happy and friendly. It's a joy to be greeted by her, there should be more Antheas in the world. She is an asset to your bakery. I would nominate her Employee of the Year.

All ways great service and know their products. The pies are so good the fan has their favourites and they never disappoint.

I have been a customer of GOLDSTEINS at southport park for many years and highly recomened ther healthy range of pies especially there mince pies always fresh and healthy and great prices for pensioners andthe staff.are always plesantas was PAULA yesterday and the coffee is the best.thats why im a.regular.definately 10stars.PJ .

Southport Park just catered for a 30 staff lunch. They did a fabulous job and the meals were delicious. Everyone was impressed. Thank you.

Went on a Sunday morning and granted she was working on her own but the blonde lady with the arm tattoo is extremely rude and curt.
The milk shake mixer was broken and also no oat milk or almond milk.

Got to the counter and while she was walking up asked "what do you want" no customer service and with a dull look her face made me feel very unwelcomed

Ease off the microwave..the cheese and ham croissant was woeful..rubbery and crusty cheese and cardboard like burnt ham.

I've always loved buying my pies here but always felt unwelcomed.

I walked into the store yesterday to buy my usual mince pie. I asked if I could purchase the pie towards the front (as it was more crispy and golden brown then the others).

I had a feeling this shop keeper didn't even listen to my request and sure enough, she picks a pie from the back and when I told her I wanted the one at the front not the back, she then immediately rolls her eyes at me and gives me the worst attitude of annoyance and contempt.

I then turned around and said, " you know what, just forget it", and left the shop in utter and complete disgust. I was there to buy a meat pie not this women's attitude. She then tries to lure me back but I was out of there.

What a shame. The food is great here but the service is poor. I will never go back unless management takes note of this retread women's behaviour and lack of mannerism towards their customers.

Shocking service in fact none at all. Had to go back to the counter twice to ask where my coffee was while the two lady assistants were gossiping to themselves. Cake was stale and coffee when I finally got it was cold. Never going back will try the Cafe in front can't be any worse.

Totally agree with the other poster/s, the middle aged woman with tattoos is so rude. Grumpy, agro and obviously doesn't want to be there. Who greets people snapping "what do you want". Won't be going back.

I have been using this pie shop for many years now I have not encountered this “manager” with tattoos before older lady, except a few times now in the past month I can easily say she is the rudest person and just seems so angry to be there! I’ve sighted her being rude to other customers too. Disgusting service by her just so rude, I would love to know what the lady at the pie shop thinks makes her so much better then everyone else I couldn’t see it or pick it myself

Used to love this store. But won’t be going back after encountering possibly the worst customer service this morning, from some sour older woman . Never got a hello let alone thank you . Just a grunt.! Surely you can find staff better than that

I asked for my usual Saturday half vanilla slice. The team member said we don't have any. I said you have full one's could you please cut in half and then you can sell the other half. She was clearly not happy, but cut it in half and threw the other halfin the bin!!

My partner and I went their in search of a tasty pie, as we are HUGE pie fanatics. We ordered a plain pie with mash and gravy. It was quite obvious that the mash potatoes that was used was not from real potatoes, it was instant mash ( you add boiling water to a powder). It was hard to taste anything else but the instant potato mash, which is quite fowl.

The gravy was also an instant gravy and had lumps of powder which had not mixed well , as you could imagine this was very unsavory. The pie itself, was bland and wasn't anything to rave about, the mince was very watery.

The customer service was minimal to say the least. The price far exceeded the quality, I dont mind paying $8.00 for a pie if the quality can back it up. Our pies were : $5.50 EACH + $0.80 GRAVY + $1.70 FAKE INSTANT MASH (DEB).

To be honest, this is by far the worst tasting pie I have tried in Australia, being born and bread here, apart from those stale service station pies.

I love writing a great review and dont like being the person to leave a negative review , but with the poor quality, excessive price and minimal customer service , I am compelled to leave a poor review.

Do your wallet and your taste buds a favor and save your dollars and try another bakery. Because we all know theres nothing better than a great tasting Aussie meat pie. :)
