Commonwealth Bank Stockland Burleigh Branch

I have been to this branch to get money at the ATM and exchange some bills for coins. It was quick and easy and the advisor has been very friendly. Great experience.
I already made very good experiences with commonwealth bank due to a fraud attempt. They have been very professional, helpful and understanding.
I am very happy and proud to be a customer and would highly recommend the bank to anyone.

I’ve banked with commonwealth for 57 years

And have never witnessed such rude , belligerent bullies who not only were dismissive to customers but when the customers stood up for themselves these 2 CommBank staff - Silka and Samantha started spouting ‘ don’t be rude to us and don’t swear’

The other ladies were NOT swearing at all

They were visibly upset at the treatment they were receiving and telling the staff this ..

The bully staff then threatened one client they’d get security onto her !!

Absolutely disgraceful way to treat her

these two female staff members where playing victim when they actually were they ones antagonizing the customers

1/2 dozen people witnessed this !
These staff members should be sacked

And I bet you they’ll make out it was the customers fault and shirk of any responsibility

I hope those involved make formal a complaint

Ps I’ve never seen these two here before but previous staff were always delightful to deal with…..

Terrible experience my Mum had trying to open an account with a relative today. They arrived in the branch at 3:25pm and asked to open a standard bank account. The woman who they asked for help told them they couldn’t do it today. The branch was empty of any other customers but they were told there was no one free to help.

Mum asked why and they told her “we can’t start something that won’t be finished” and to “make an appointment for the next day (Saturday) at the Robina branch but just know there are no tellers on Saturdays.” My mum asked what the point of making an appointment would be then?🤦‍♀

The staff member then said “well you can sit down and wait if you want but I don’t know if it will be worth it.”
There was 35 minutes until the branch closed. They were told to go to the computers and set it up themselves. They encountered a problem when trying to use the computer and a staff member came out of nowhere (and then another) and helped them finish the account set up. It was completed in less than 15minutes.

The customer service exhibited in this branch was appalling. Unfortunately we don’t know the name of the staff member who was so adamant that no one could assist my Mum nor the ones who helped them in the end. They were very upset and were made to feel like they weren’t worth anybody’s time or effort. Disappointing to say the least from such an established Australian bank.

Never again. The guy just sending you on the website or phone, but don’t wanna help you with the problem.

Was speaking with one of their staff who smashed his computer walked off then was treated like absolute rubbish don’t recommend this branch or bank

This branch is a joke and it appears that 'customer service' is also a joke to the staff in this branch. "CBA you have lost your way!" From the tellers to the 'Management', I simply cannot believe how unhelpful staff are at this branch.

Asked to deliver my debit card for 4 months and didn't receive. Called online support and got my card within 5 days.
