Bank of Queensland Burleigh Heads (Closed)

After banking for 30+ years with an nameless bank operating in Australian and New Zealand and experiencing a recent determined effort by them to drive customers away (business and personal), we selected BOQ Burleigh Heads as our new bank.
What a refreshing change to be treated as a valued customer, something we had come to forget still existed at our previous bank. The staff are pleasant and genuinely helpful, for both business and personal account matters.

We want to pass on our feedback and thanks to Ben Rodwell who provided us with service and experience that was nothing but the best. After at least 12 months of being palmed off by various brokers, we decided to approach the banks directly. We enquired with a few banks but no one was able to top Ben's customer service. I remember filling in an enquiry form on BOQ's website one night, and by the next afternoon Ben had made contact with us, reviewed our financials and provided us with our borrowing capacity - he did within 24 hours what we had been waiting for someone to do for a year. Not only is Ben always contactable and prompt with his responses, he is personable and friendly and went above and beyond to make the whole first home buyer experience enjoyable. He was always happy to have a chat, answer any questions (even the same ones over and over) and would even touch base with us on the weekends to see how our property search was going. Ben always made things happen - the turnaround times were impressive and he always kept us updated along the way. We are so grateful we found Ben and we look forward to continuing to bank with Ben & BOQ! Thank you Ben!!

Switched from a Big 4 Bank to BOQ in September 2021. Lucky enough to meet Ben Rodwell at the Burleigh Heads Branch. Everything was so easy dealing with Ben. Ben kept us up to date on each step and was overall a great bloke to deal with. Thanks heaps mate, has been a pleasure.

I would say they both offer the utmost in professionalism and empathy and truly care .

What a branch, I have always had great service at this branch, but today was above and beyond, Melissa went out of her way to find a receipt of purchase and had to go through all statements back to July 2020, your a legend, now I can get my new Dyson. 👍👏👏👏 Thanks Melissa xx

Banking as it should be - friendly, personal service. Tim, Jocelyn, Jim, and all the staff, go above and beyond to deliver on what you don't get from a bank these days, and as a small business this makes all the difference. Thanks guys!

Friendliest and helpful bank staff

Terrible customer service!! At the teller I was paying my bank a compliment re how they've $100 notes when I ask for change but they were so rude & attacked me as if I was saying"BOQ don't have any change"!?! I'd been a customer for years & deserve more respect when I was positive to them but they were over their job & that's my fault so I should cop a mouthful?! This is why computers are taking over in banks as they're emotionless whilst people should have the compassionate customer service personality required which evidently they don't so I think they need more staff who're maybe younger & more vibrant so people don't get their heads snapped off for no reason!!

worst banking experience, as much as we wanted to stay away from the Big 4 our experience with BOQ Burleigh would be one of the worst. Well done Jocelyn & Tim you lost our business.
