Cafe on Hedges

Had a very good lunch here. The menu had a lot of modern breakfast specialties. I had the special, with poached eggs, avocado, beet purée, crispy kale, and balsamic reduction on grilled bread. My wife had the heart healthy starter, with smoked salmon, poached eggs, cottage cheese on grilled bread. Both were very good, as was my tropical storm smoothie.

Pleasant Surprise - Stopped in for coffee and we noticed the pre-made breakfast wraps in the window; usually it’s a bit of a gamble purchasing these but wow these were great!
Bacon, eggs, some type of mayo like sauce, herbs, diced tomato etc so much flavour packed into this brekky wrap.
The coffee was also perfect. Highly recommend

The staff were all friendly, service prompt, and is nicely located just across the beach. The fish tacos were decent but what we enjoyed more were the cold brew, which were fragrant, not bitter, and packed a little oomph. Would pop by again when we're in the area.

My friend told me they have the best maple bacon for breakfast, I never tried maple bacon before and I feel so weird to eat bacon with sweet favour. But guess what, it tastes so good, unexpectedly. The location is great, with a perfect mermaid beach view.

I ordered the Spanish eggs and it was the most delicious breakfast I’ve ever had!

Not only do they cater for all dietary requirements there are many delious options on the menu. Food was fast, warm and delious. Customer service was excellent and friendly. Definatley recommend going here.

I had the linguine for lunch as I usually can't say no to Linguine. The tiger prawns were grilled perfectly and it was certainly not dry and bland as another review claimed. In fact, it was awesome! My mate's children had the ham and cheese croissant, banana bread and the egg's benedict and they wouldn't stop raving on about how good it was (What about letting me have a bite then?)

To top off the meal with one of the best coffees I have had recently, you can understand why it won cafe of the year 2 years running. Will definitely return in the future if I am in the Gold Coast.

Don’t normally review on here but this is one of the best cafes I’ve been too. Amazing food and amazing people

Great coffee. The XL is the size of a small bucket, large enough for a decent caffeine fix.

We’ve returned 3 times during our 5 day visit to Broadbeach. This is a hidden gem and we’re enjoying it right now! Beautiful coffee and Almond Croissants ‘to die for’. ❤

The quality of food selection is diverse.. I would highly recommend the Spanish breakfast.. the best on the coast and the coffee is undoubtedly as good as any Melbourne boutique cafe.

About a week ago, a young man who said his name was Marley delivered my wife and I coffees. He had great customer service and was very welcoming. The coffees were awesome i would recommend to friends and family and will be coming back again. give this man a raise!

My Favourite Cafe. Certainly one of the best at the GC in this area. Great location and very friendly staff. Great choice of meals. Am there at least twice a month walking there from Burleigh Beach.

Stayed at Queensland for 8 days and this place was on the corner of the street where we stayed. Decided to try it on day one. Amazing coffee and great food. The service was phenomenal. Ended up going back 5 days out of 7. Consistently good food, coffee and service. Couldn't recommend more highly.

By far the best breakfast menu we have seen on the gold coast, lovely helpful staff, a nice atmosphere cool and breezy and great to watch all the people waking running and cycling by.

Verry good coffee and great location. One of my favourite places to have breakfast on the GC.
