Charlie's Cafe & Bar

Had what can only be described as a brilliant experience. Choice of indoor or sidewalk dining.
Good atmosphere and super clean.
We had the seafood and risotto dishes and they were great!
Staff were great and the prices for drinks awesome.
I would thoroughly recommend that you eat there and support a local business.

Great atmosphere, family friendly. Great food with a good amount of serving of it. I picked up a spaghetti Bolognese for dinner and found it was enough for three small meals. And very very nice. Took pictures while I was there. Will definitely visit again

Update, I have lived here now for three years and this is one of my regulars. Definitely worth a visit for a good meal

Last minute Sunday morning dash down to the Gold Coast from Springfield Lakes, Brisbane for a quick bite to eat where we stumbled across a few eye catching plates at Charlie’s! We had no intention of eating at a bar/cafe but after seeing what others had ordered, how could we not. Don’t overlook this place as a destination for Sunday breakfast. Priced well, with great service staff that are attentive, bubbly and willing to take your order.

The Sunday manager on at the time, was very courteous, thoughtful, friendly and helpful. Hard to come by on any Sunday and we’ve eaten at a few different cafes and restaurants that have been rated 5 stars when we felt very much the opposite.

Well done to the staff at Charlie’s and thanks to the chefs for a wonderful Sunday breakfast! Coffees and Chai Lattes were delicious to!

We’d visit again.

One of my favourite places to eat at whenever I visit this area. Fantastic staff, family friendly, generous sized servings and very affordable. The cocktails are delicious and my kids fell in love with the mocktails. Im definately looking forward to coming back next time I visit!!

Great place for breakfast, they get busy and there can be a wait but it's certainly worth it, waiting staff are great and very helpful, they don't stop and nothing is trouble for them.
Food is good, Eggs and Bacon on Turkish is excellent and scrambled egg so good. Coffee good too.
Prices are fair and I would recommend a breakfast there.

We have popped in here 2 times in the last 3 days to have a quick drink. Missus got a coffee, kids got water/soft drinks and dad had a nice cold beer. It was really nice to get everything in one place. The staff were super friendly and efficient.

Best piece of steak ever! Salad was fresh and the burger was a good size. Friendly staff and reasonable price. Definitely come back! Thanks guys

We were exploring Surfers Paradise Last night. From the tram station @ Cavil Avenue Station. We found this place so nice & can sit on the high table looking at people around Surfers.

We ordered "Peri Peri Chicken Pizza" The taste so yummy. (We love spicy!). I can give #fivestars #5stars #5starsreview⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ to this pizza and this place.

We ordered drinks. It was nice and reasonable price.

The staffs so friendly. When, we ask the separated bills, they can manage it well. Also, my friend pay with #applepay and its really fast (face recognition on applepay is intrresting!).

Awesome staff. Meals were fantastic. We walked in and were immediately seated. Fish, awesome. Pizza, awesome. Cheesy garlic bread, awesome. Staff, friendly, fantastic service. All around awesome

First time here for breakfast and we thoroughly enjoyed it even though we were told a 40min wait it was worth it. The guy who served us had really good customer service and would definitely come back. The Turkish bread is yummy!!

Welcomed upon entering. Friendly and laid back. Quick service. I had bbq chicken wings and chips. Generous serving. Place is very clean even outside tables. Will come back here again. Highly recommend 😁

Great place to stop have a drink and just enjoy the atmosphere in the middle of Surfers Paradise Cavill Mall we have enjoyed many meals here and the food is good pub food. Plenty of friendly staff and table service is great, TV line the walls so you can watch sport as well. Plenty of cakes and great coffee.

The staff is lovely, very friendly, welcoming.
I had the steak and I loved it! Cooked exactly how I like it.
Will definitely come back to try other meals!

My experience at Charlie’s was good. Vegetable soup was very very tasty and hot. So was the Turkish toast.

The host Eduardo is amazing! Top-notch customer service and beyond efficient. Thanks so much for a great experience. We ordered kids fish and chips but it was super busy and was told after that there was over a 1 hour wait on food. I said I had a baby and couldn’t wait that long, they snuck in my order and we got it pretty much straight away. Very much appreciated and very happy baby!

Our favorite place to get a cold beer in Surfer's paradise. We've been there several times with friends and we've alwayd had a great time. The street can get pretty noisy in the evening so we enjoy the tables on the inside. The staff is nice and the beers are not overpriced. All in all, a good place to enjoy a late afternoon on the Gold Coast.
