St.George Branch Southport

Why is this Southport branch shut? There are less and less branches open. The closest is Helensvale or Robina. They had great staff.

Since my lending manager Wayne Lashman (who was very good) has left unexpectedly, I have been allocated a new Lending manager, Kayla, who despite short notice has managed to bring My loan affairs back on track. Thank you St George.

Very unprofessional! Sam the manager refused to serve me and give me documents which I an entitled to under the freedom of information act, as I'm banned from a different branch, he was very well made aware that i am still allowed to attend other branch's etc. I even offered to prove this to him with the letters, he refused to even view them. Unfortunately, once again, it's the blind leading the blind, the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing.
Deliberately to waste my time, as the broadbeach branch was more then happy to deposit them.
In future, before making assumptions and thinking you know what is happening, actually take the time and effort to actually look at something for what it is.

This isn't like my other banks, I found out from a friend they use an identification system despite they're a customer there and have been for years but as they didn't have their photo identification or 18+ card they refused to serve them!?! This isn't professional bank service as I have never been through that as my other banks just have security questions to confirm my identity and there was no reason they couldn't have used that method here. I will never again bank with St George but the only reason I did was at the time I wasn't an adult yet and my parents opened an account for me as they choose it due to the higher interest rates at the time.
