Very well priced meals. The restaurant looks out over the street and tramline. It's a small place but we got a table on a Sunday, which was fabulous considering some of the crowds we saw elsewhere. We ordered 4 large meals and 3 coffees which came to just over $60. What a bargain! Food was lovely, I especially enjoyed the smashed avo on Turkish bread, it was fresh and delicious.

Wow what a find. Great, classic café owned by a mum and dad. Food was delicious and excellently priced, just lovely home cooked food. And the service is how it should be, friendly and down to earth. A must visit. You won't be disappointed.

My wife and I came here for breakfast the other day. It seems like the owners are running the place and they genuinely cared about thier customers. I felt that their service was excellent and their food was superb. We ordered some eggs on toast and waffles along with juice. Everything was incredibly fresh, we'll seasoned and perfectly cooked. Even the drinks were light and refreshing. We are both looking forward to breakfast here next time we're in town.

This small place offers a nice selection for breakfast. I had a Smashed Avo on Turkish Bread with a poached egg and a Detox Zing juice. All delicious and fresh. The lady and gentleman who took our order and prepared our food are very attentive and friendly.

Me and my partner were staying at the hotel nearby and saw this cute cafe and decided to have breakfast. We both ordered the omelette with our choice of toppings. When it came out it was a great portion for the price, eyes were definitely bigger than our tummy’s 🤭 the owners were lovely and when we returned the next morning before our flight home (we again ordered the omelette but this time we decided to share) they were a little busy yet still gave great customer service. Had a lovely chat and they even served our food in half and on two plates so we could share.

Overall the food was delicious, service was great (had a great family vibe and felt caring like parents to us) and the price was good. Definitely will be coming back whenever we visit the GC again

Good alternative if you’re staying at the JW Marriott it’s (literally across the road) and don’t want to spend $180 for a family of 4. $50 fed our family with coffee.

Enormous oat milk latte for $7

Truly a hidden gem tucked away literally a one minute walk to the beach. This place is absolutely awesome value for your money. The owner Stephen is quite the character, extremely friendly and willing to make suggestions to tourists about local activities. His wife Gaylene operates the espresso machine and efficiently made my coffee every morning (best coffee in surfers - no joke). Both are so lovely, genuine and kind. It has been a pleasure to visit them every morning. If you want down to earth service, great coffee at a reasonable price and friendly local service make this your morning stop!
