Cafe Alfons

We were looking for a decent place to have brunch. From the moment we walked in till we finished eating we were provided with 5 star service. Staff were friendly and attentive to any questions we had. The food here was great and I was surprised with the big portion size. Meals here were definitely worth the price. This place is definitely worth a visit. We will be coming here whenever we come to Brisbane.

Always a delightful experience dining at Cafe Alfons. Service is amazing and always greeted by a smiley face. The food is consistently impeccable and the portions are generous in size and well priced. The fresh juice is amazing and coffee always on point. Cannot fault these guys.

Ps. If you are a sweet tooth, the cakes and slices will certainly not disappoint!

This place is stupid good. Excellent food quality and great attention for allergens. Fresh baked bread, fresh battered chicken make it great for us. Our açaí bowl was a mere 10 out of 10. Great staff as well from chef to table. #wilmothtravel ps. Lighting from the red awning throws the photos off a bit.

This place is very close to my hotel. We originally planned to casually come over for some breakfast, but it turned out to be so delicious. The service is excellent, and the food is incredibly tasty. You can't go wrong with any dish. We've been having breakfast here for three consecutive days. It's a pity that we're leaving for Sydney today. I wanted to try more food. Next time I come to the Gold Coast, I'll definitely bring friends here for breakfast. Many thanks to the staff; everyone's attitude is exceptional.

If you’re looking for decent breakfast and great service, Cafe Alfons is the place to be. First time being there and we were already planning our regular breakfast meet up. Everyone welcomed us with a smile, busy place but awesome.

We loved our brunch at Cafe Alfons this morning. The menu has lots of options with small twists on traditional favourites. While very busy, the staff were attentive and friendly. The food was fresh, plentiful and good value! To top it off we had strong Adore coffee.

Cafe Alfons is absolutely amazing. I had Mothers day breakfast with my daughter Andrea.
We had a baked potato, wow so scrumptious.
I am here on holiday and have never had a baked potato as good as this in New Zealand.
The kitchen staff nailed it.

I'm never the one to write reviews but this place is amazing, the food was perfect, wait time was extremely minimal (even with a full house) the service was brilliant, the blonde lady with the cool accent was absolutely lovely, price was very fair and food was very high quality, highly recommend the build your own omelet havent had one that nice in years! it's a shame my fiance and i arent from here as we would come all the time !

The breakfast quality was so good, the scrambled egg was the highlight with a cheeky little bit of chilli jam. Also the fried eggplant too was another highlight on the vegetarian big breakfast.

Such a fantastic cafe, with consistent good food and service. The coffee seems to have changed and as not strong as before but still good. Had the toad in the hole toastie the last time and it was absolutely delicious 😋

It was an experience to remember. If you're looking for a unique and charming cafe, look no further. Just look out for the big red umbrella that marks the entrance to Cafe Alfons on the eastern side of Chevron Island.

We were thrilled to find that the meals at Cafe Alfons were of the highest quality. We ordered a range of 2 dishes + coffee and everything was delicious.

What made our experience all the more enjoyable was the decent table service we received. The staff were attentive, friendly, and always had a smile on their face. We felt welcomed and appreciated as customers, and it really added to the overall experience.

It's no surprise to learn that Cafe Alfons has been awarded one of the best cafes by TripAdvisor for many years. It's a testament to the dedication and hard work of the staff who have created an exceptional dining experience.

An awesome big heavy brunch at Cafe Alfons where their staff checked in with us every few moments to make sure everything was alright. No regrets driving down just to eat there. Coffee is a winner as well. Cafe Alfons was a 2017, 2018 winner - and I would say they are in line to win 2019 too.

relaxing vibes and interior, really friendly service, nice coffee, great food and generous portions. the sausage was quite bland but other than that everything else was fantastic!

This Cafe, on Chevron Island was very nice. I stopped in at 06:30 on a Sunday Morning for a hot chocolate and carrot cake. The hot chocolate was nice and hot, as most cafe's tend to make the hot chocolate just warm which is not as enjoyable as when it is hot! The carrot cake was yummy too! If you are passing through don't forget to take a break, and enjoy your day by stopping at cafe Alfons on Chevron Island.

Fantastic experience, it always starts from staff and this staff is welcoming, lovely and helpful so much. Plenty of seating indoor and outdoor. Tasty coffee and plenty of food options. Well done!
