Bumbles Cafe

This wasn’t my first visit to this cafe, as I been here before for breakfast & lunch on several occasions and it was always a five star experience . Today we had some delicious coffees ,( a flat white , skinny cappuccino ) , I also had a peppermint tea , after the scrumptious orange & almond cake . As always service was excellent , friendly , helpful and great table service . I forgot to take photos of our cake , but I did take photos of the array of cakes on display ! Plus one of the inside , limited to what I could take as tables inside and outside were very busy ! Previous breakfast & lunch were delicious ! Good value for money, since my last visit prices see to have gone up . But still rate it a five star experience . I shall be back next week for my favourite breakfast , eggs Benedict , one of the best I have had . Thank you for a beautiful experience in your cafe .

Lovely cafe. Great service food with GF options. Cakes 🧁 look amazing. Staff were lovely. Clean toilets. A great find in a quiet riverfront spot on the Gold Coast.

Such an amazing place for brunch. 28 of us rocked up to the cafe this morning, were greeted perfectly by the staff and they made everything possible to accommodate us!

Savoury breakfast items were 5/5 for the price but sweet breakfast was 3/5 as it’s expensive and limited menu. Coffee was absolutely delicious. Service and the atmosphere was absolutely stunning. The whole vibe of this cafe is GORGEOUS!!!! 100% recommend if you love savoury breakfasts !!!

A charming spot! We had Miso Salmon and a dish called F.A.T. It was delicious. Will come back soon!

This cafe has a great menu and is so quaint. It is opposite the water at Buds Beach. The staff are really friendly and the food and drinks are excellent quality. Looking at the various rooms, it is well able to cater for larger groups, as well as more intimate lunches. It is open one night a week for dinner, but I think that may be a temporary summer thing, so you’d need to check.
Chicken sandwich and the Karaage burger were both delicious!
I love this place. It’s a quieter haven if you are staying at Surfers. Definitely worth a visit.

Great place to eat when you’re near Surfers. Kudos to our waitress Diane, she made our experience much more enjoyable and the service was very efficient.

The overall aesthetic and atmosphere of the building was very calm and had rustic vibes. I was seated at the back where the decorations seemed a little bit cluttered but it suited well with the plants. I would recommend calling up and booking a table before arrival so that you can be seated at an indoor table. But you can also be seated at the front which provides beach views and a breeze.

The food was overall really nice and delicious and the drinks were pretty good. Have had takeaway coffee before here, and it does not disappoint. You can ask to park your bike at the side gate.

Beautiful place that faces the peaceful river/stream. It's not a not busy road so it's quite nice to seat outside and watch the world go by. Oh the inside is huge! They have many quaint rooms and tables indoors.

Service staff is very attentive and friendly.

Food. My poached eggs were fully cooked inside. Toast was rather dry and hard.

Coffee (I got the flat white) is really good.

I would go back again, maybe try another dish.

Many free parking spaces just opposite the restaurant.

I love the cafe atmosphere and it’s very spacious too. The coffee (mocha with oat milk ) is amazing. The omelette and prawn sandwich were great too.

Good coffee, friendly service, yummy menu (all day brunch options but no eggs after 1130am). Sparkling water on tap.

Lovely local spot looking across to the beach with seating outside plus some lovely dining areas inside on multiple levels and the ability to cater for groups.

Such a beautiful place for high tea. Great interior decorations and fresh flowers on every table. Perfectly cooked salmon. Delicious prawn sandwiches. Will be back for more. Such courteous service to boot. Great names for the fresh juices haha.

Great views across the water. My French Toast was excellent, and the preparation of the ingredients was clearly not hurried.
My long back coffee was well-made with a substantial crema.
Service was patient and friendly.
There was no room to sample any of the range of cakes. Lunch cakes in the future!

This is the second time I’ve been & again it was amazing!!! The staff are very friendly & helpful here! The drinks & food are yummy, decent servings & come out promptly. I had the fish & chips which was delicious & don’t forget to check the cake cabinet! They also have their own honey which is also really nice!

Indoor & outdoor seating available, pet friendly & love the unique setting inside in each room!

Parking is available in surrounding streets.

Just a note to say a big THANK YOU to the Owner & team for helping my friend with her car (Volvo) & calling the Council to help her so quickly! Went above & beyond, such a great community 🙏😊

Awesome place Great food Lovely Location in Surfers Paradise

I had my 60th birthday at the Blues house last night & from the moment we arrived till we left, the amazing waitress/host was fantastic!
She made the night so easy, fun & special. She is such an assist to this venue. There was 17 of us & it felt like we were at a friend's house. It was intimate, relaxed & food was great. Thank you again, a great night was had by all.

We loved looking around at the different rooms all with beautiful decor making it a relaxing atmosphere.
We had eggs Benedict for lunch which were delicious and I loved the homemade hollandaise sauce.
Finished with coffee and cake. Coffee was excellent and cakes were so delicious must try the dacquoise.
Staff were so friendly and accommodating they truly went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. Thank you

My favourite cafe in Surfers! Very cute and the food is amazing!

First brunch on the Gold Coast and Bumbles hit the spot. A large mug of cappuccino (remember, ‘skinny’ not ‘trim’) was just what was needed after a late arrival the night before. I chose the FAT - feta, avo and tomatoes on sourdough. A nice zing with the lemon and balsamic also helped to wake me up for the day ahead.
We sat outside to enjoy the fresh air but a quick trip to the bathroom confirmed that the real charm of Bumbles is the labyrinthine interior. Room to room is a quirky discovery. Some navigation skills required.

Great place for a large group; bumbles had no troubles accommodating our party of 16.

We booked at 11am for brunch; the staff were great allowing some people to quickly order from the breakfast menu and others from the lunch menu. Orders were separated by name to make splitting the bill a breeze.
