Sporty's Fishing

Recently moved to Australia and went in to Sportys for a few small items. They were very friendly and gave me a rundown on the most common target species, techniques and tackle. Went to the beach that evening to try it out and not long before I had hooked a fish! Would recommend!

Wanted a reel in a specific size and brand and model but the staff at Sportys put me onto a much better model for my use.

Tony and the Sporty’s crew are some of the most knowledgeable fishermen and women on the Gold Coast! Always up to date with what’s chewing offshore or in the fresh water. They’ve got some of the best deals for rods, reels, lures and tackle going around and they’re always willing to have a chat and spread their wealth of knowledge. From beginners to expert anglers I highly recommend sporty’s as the go to shop in SEQ!!!

Tracy and the team at sportysfihing are my go to shop with the best customer service you will ever get. The old man in their seems to know his stuff and even cracks a good dad joke from time to time. but if you want some good advice and fishing gear get in and have a look!!!

I have shopped here many times and always had a great experience with awesome customer service from Tony, Benji, Harry and Tracy. They have a range of items including high-end stuff like Millerods and Daiwa rods & reels you can't find anywhere else locally.
