Alfresco Italian Restaurant

I had the pleasure of dining at Alfresco and I must say that the entire experience was simply amazing. The food was authentic Italian and tasted absolutely delicious. The atmosphere was gorgeous and added to the overall dining experience. What made my visit even more special was that I celebrated my birthday at Alfresco and was pleasantly surprised with a complimentary cake. It was such a thoughtful gesture and made my day even more memorable. I would highly recommend Alfresco to anyone looking for an incredible dining experience that is sure to leave a lasting impression.

A really nice meal and evening! We went here for our anniversary.

Staff were friendly and welcoming, I think the owner (or maybe a manager) came around the tables to speak to everyone and check they were okay, which was a nice touch. They brought out a little tiramisu with a sparkler for our anniversary, such a lovely surprise.

Food was delicious, the garlic bread was very cheesy and garlicky. The pizza (commos) was amazing, very flavourful as soon as you bite into it. The chicken was so tender and well cooked.

Overall, 5 stars from us and would go here again :)!

Dining on your own is never enjoyable but the staff seemed to change that! I just mentioned it was my birthday and Fabricio and his team made me feel special when they brought out a cake and sang Happy Birthday ! Thank you so much - you made my day! Highly recommend the non alcoholic Zenzero cocktail - refreshing, tasty and yum

What a great restaurant! The staff are very friendly. That is the biggest draw. The girls were so helpful and welcoming. Even the seating staff made sure we got a seat. The food is freshly prepared. A lot of Italian Nonna's approve so you can rest assured it will be good food. Every dish is simple and perfect. The restaurant is full 7 days a week and rightfully so. The risotto was succulent and the meatballs juicy. No desserts sadly. The ambience is so good. The other restaurants it are nowhere in this restaurants league. A national favourite.

Sensational food. Tasty, authentic and well portioned. We had the bolgnese w/ tortellini and the protein to pasta ratio was simply perfect.

Pizza dough was super fresh, crunchy on the outside and soft inside.

Friendly staff and great and vibrant feel to the venue. Highly recommend.

Best Italian food and service on the GC. Our waitress Aretta was so friendly and attentive. Food was delicious and service was very quick. A little on the pricey side when feeding a family, but well worth it. We will be back the next time we are on the GC.

I have been visiting this restaurant for over 20years. We visit annually with a returning group of teachers from Japan and with friends and family, other times. It's always a great place to go, with great food and a lovely atmosphere.

We had dinner here mid week. Greeted by a handsome, young, charming man and shown to our table. We ordered bruschetta, lasagna and gluten free pollo pesto. Service was quick and friendly. The food was delicious with generous portions. Everything coming out of the kitchen looked amazing. Loveky, authentic atmosphere. Highly recommended.

Outstanding food and great Italian service. Everything we had was so tasty and the portion sizes excellent. My steak was outstanding. If you are thinking about going to Alfresco, stop thinking and go now.

Arrived without a booking midweek bout 6:30pm and was accommodated. Indoor or outdoor seating for those cool summer evenings.

The tiramisu alone deserves 5+ stars. I’m sick of restaurants that boast a homemade tiramisu and it’s disappointing…Alfresco hands down has one of the best tiramisu’s I’ve had in Australia.

Queue seemed long when we arrived but the line moved quickly. Restaurant is family friendly and value for money in a place where many restaurants can be overpriced. Delicious sauces and pasta, friendly staff who were more than happy to help and a great place to celebrate a special occasion!

Food was good, but it was really hot &steam feeling in the restaurant. We bought the cake from other store.

The atmosphere of the restaurant was so good and the service was great.
The restaurant was really busy when we visited.
Maybe that's why the steak is a little more cooked than we ordered.
And the garlic bread came out too late.

Nice food, great service, comfy atmosphere.

I visited here on Friday night, they were very busy.
When we ordered foods, the wait staff apologized that it might take a long to serve our foods.
We really didn't mind it but they were very nice and polite to tell us that.
And actually, they didn't even take a long time to serve dishes.

And of course, very tasty!

I highly recommend having a reservation.

ABSOLUTEY AMAZING!!!

I quickly picked Alfresco's based off their google reviews and my god did they not disappoint. Even though we arrived 45mins early and to an absolutely packed venue, we were seated at the bar and served tremendously numerous times, even when staff were flat out. We loved Tony's story and Raff ran the place beautifully and even whilst making cocktails, cleaning, taking orders and pouring wine, still managed to check in on every table and joke around with us. The food was amazing and the wine was wonderful. Complete 10/10 and i've already sent family their way.

Can't wait to come back!

Absolutely loved our experience ar Alfresco! The staff were just amazing! We watched the bartender pump drinks out while the kitchen pumped food out and both drinks ans food were superb. The whole vibe was fantastic and we even got a small musical from a staff member and the tables that joined in. Would highly recommend to anyone
