Hot Star Chicken

Delicious chicken and mushrooms with nice amount of spice. I love the flavours that you can choose from. Service was fast and friendly. We always do the chicken bites and the mushrooms are scrumptious. The seating areas are clean. Would highly recommend this place for a quick bite.

We loved Hot Star when we lived in Melbourne and were so thrilled to see there was one in Gold Coast! The service was fantastic and even had a lovely chat with the staff. Food was perfection, just a la good as we remembered and couldn’t fault a thing.

I loved Hot Star Fried Chicken and was thrilled to find out that they have store in Gold Coast. Went in and had the best fried chicken. Their Chicken Soft Bone was even better than the one I've had in Brisbane City. Kudos to the uncle who made it.

Im pretty picky with my food but the Salt and Pepper Calamari was by far the best ive ever had. Highly recommend! I always come here when im in the Gold Coast.

Couldn't get a good photo before the kids started digging in but woww so good!! Best fried chicken and honestly the best hotstar I've ever had and been to A LOT!

Great value & great tasting, best eaten hot in your hands! Recommend the original fried chicken which has a lot of meat & some bone & add chilli powder for additional bite.

Hot star is always my go to for a quick snack. But this particular store is just amazing coz of the staff. Forgot my phone and the store owner kept it on charge overnight till the next day while I was re tracing my steps.... What a legend... Thanks a ton...

Been 5 times cauz I love the franchise. Surfers has the same bloke knocking it out and offering the cheaper meal deals. Knocks kfc away

It's really good tasting food. My kids loved it, especially the squid. The seasoning is amazing.

When I seen this shop it was kind of our last resort in food options but I am glad to say I was wrong.

We got the boneless combo and the original combo with 2 fries and 2 drinks for $33

First off the size of the meals was huge! As in there’s enough food for 4 people.

The taste on the bones less was amazing and tasty and very Morish.

The original had very cinnamon forward flavor and I found it hard to stop eating once I started.

I highly recommend this place for anyone willing to try something different I will 100% be back before I leave qld.

The lady who grows lemons is spectacular. unfortunately i didn’t get her name. She deserves a raise. She gave us salt, of high quality and frankly; good texture. The lemons? Superb. what a garden! She ought to be proud and praised accordingly.

If you like a small amount of spice you have to try the crumbed chicken and battered mushrooms. Be sure to ask for the spices. Sooo good! Awesome prices too.

This place is insane. Staff are extremely friendly and offered me a free drink with my meal. You can get a great selection of fried meats and vegetables here with some of the best spice mixes and sauces I've had on the Gold Coast hands down!
