What a great place - clean, casual & an excellent choice of food & drink. Our waiter Akib was THE BEST, he made us comfortable & calmly took our (8 ladies) order for drinks & cocktails, entrees & mains. He was able to answer all our menu related questions & even told a joke or three (this guy deserves a raise). The food was delicious & larger size servings than we anticipated. Very well located on the waters edge with an adequate outdoor sitting area with views of a large playground. Definitely going back even if it is to have dessert which we weren't able to squeeze in.

First time we have dined here as per a recommendation from friends. Seated on the terrace overlooking the water on a beautiful Bunbury evening. Seating and service was prompt and friendly. We both enjoyed the Scotch fillet which was moist, tender and HUGE!!!! Side salad and seasonal vegetables topped off an all round wonderful, tasty and enjoyable evening

Visited on Saturday, after enjoying a brunch there a few months back. So glad we did, the whole experience was fantastic. We enjoyed some oysters and the pork special as entrees, the filet Mignon for a main (perfectly cooked and delicious sides) then the creme brûlée for dessert. The menu was varied and extensive, the wine list generous (we opted for a Kiwi Pinot), the atmosphere perfect for our dinner for two and the service on point. Loved having a chat to the owner too. Will definitely be back.

I've had some excellent lunches here and last night had my first dinner, which was spectacular. We had the seafood platter, which was composed of amazing dishes. The garlic prawns were incredible and we loved the oysters, tempura whiting and all the other dishes. We were right on the beach and the service was top notch.

The good coffee with a. Pew and the outstanding warm service made me. One back a little later that day for lunch. Listening to the specials of the day presented in an outstanding professional and inviting way, I was really impressed. The dishes were wonderful arrangements. So much so, that I chose the fish special with Pink Snapper, potato mash, spinach, and a lemon butter sauce although I was determined to have my last Fish and Chip of my trip and it was ‚just‘ lunch time. The dish was delicious. I was quite satisfied afterwards and wished to have more stomach space for the tempting cakes which again were presented nicely. This little restaurant made my day and I will sure come by on a future visit to the area. Until then, this pleasant crew should receive all community support possible! Thank you.

Visiting from Melbourne and being Coeliac and having trouble finding complete gluten free food is not easy but tonight wow the food is amazing and fully catered to my allergies and safe and the options on the menu was awesome as generally I only have one or 2 options the scotch fillet was was cooked to perfection and the biggest I have seen even my bro had to finish mine off. Service was amazing professional and very helpful which for once I felt like a normal person rather than being treated different due to food allergies. I will definitely recommend to everyone in Melbourne too visit and the view over the water amazing too.

We had previously been here for an anniversary dinner, which was a wonderful experience. Recently we returned for my wife's birthday brunch with family, and we were very pleased again. A special mention to the waitress Katelyn who was confident, helpful and personable.

Went for lunch today, had the most wonderful service from Akib, he was so attentive, witty, hospitable, kind and fantastic as our waiter. The food (duck pancakes & pork belly) were simply divine, the view was stunning & ambiance of the venue was so upperclass!

We held a surprise party at Vat2 in the function room. The staff were so great to deal with in the lead up, Jenny was so flexible and great with her communication which made things very easy. The food was excellent, and everyone was more than well fed. The service was also great, and the staff were so professional navigating through rambunctious kids with no issues. The function room itself is lovely and was perfect for what we needed. Our mum had an amazing day and we cant thank the team at Vat2 enough. Would highly recommend!

My husband and I celebrated our wedding anniversary here and it was one of best customer service that we’ve experienced. Food, drinks and the view was really amazing. We’ll definitely be back. Great job!

We had a lunch for 8, beautiful food (larger than we expected servings!) the service from Aaqib was outstanding, will definitely be going back!

We showed up unexpectedly on a Sunday evening with 9 adults and 12 kids. The staff couldn’t have been more accommodating. Aaqib was so helpful and attentive and with such a big group couldn’t have done a better job. We had a lovely experience! Thank you.

Always a 5-star experience! Dinner last night with my girlfriends was no exception. Everything was prepared and presented beautifully, our wait staff were friendly, knowledgeable and fun. I can’t recommend Vat2 highly enough, if only there were more starts to give ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Filet mignon on a balmy Saturday night outside by the water - couldn't be better! The steak was outstanding, super tender, perfectly seasoned...just delicious. Tiramisu to follow was really good too. Attentive, friendly service, great wine - thanks for a beautiful night.
