Prouds the Jewellers Queanbeyan

Very surprised to see the other reviews, as I was treat quiet differently. In contrast to the other reviews, I and my wife got treated extremely nicely. I went their in my super dirty work clothes and my wife had just woken up that too in a hijab, yet the lady serving us displayed any and everything that was around that we and herself thought can be of interest. We were very impressed by the customer service.
The claims of racism and profiling don't really add up.
Not sure if I got lucky with a lovely salesperson or others got unlucky, but above is what we dealt with.

Fairly large store in Riverside Plaza across front the coffee shops. The staff at Prouds are very friendly and helpful.

Depends who's working as to the level of service. Put a watch on lay-by & got great service. Went in a week later to pay for it, stood at the counter & two girls just looked at me & went back to doing their own thing. Finally we asked for some service & it was like we inconvenienced them.

Only have "o" size rings and charhe you $55 to resize..bit of a bloody cheek

Not very good quality

Very rude and racist staff.. the moment they see Asian face , they start their attitude. We went to buy elite watches which was 40% on sale if we buy 2. But staff says 40% on 1 and full price on another. But I checked online and added two elite watches on cart, it’s giving me 40% off. I try to show her online thing but she refused to watch. And we kindly asked if we can talked to manger , she is like I am the manager. If you treat your customer like this, we will never return to your shop again. Queanbeyan Prouds really needs to train their staffs about calculations and how to treat customers.very bad experience 👎

went in store after walking around for five minutes couldn't see anyone so went to walk out then someone stood up from behind the counter, wanted to buy my wife a dress ring from window display for her birthday, chose one from window display, had a sample ring for size, asked if could have nicely wrapped , was dropped in a small bag, ring didn't fit was told would cost $ 70. to have resized. asked for a refund was told dont do refunds so had to exchange for something we didn't want.staff said have a nice day while looking at the roof. never again.

Not good customer service, went to another prouds in canberra and had an entirely different and positive experience. Staff here aren't motivated to bring your value.
