Woolworths Balmain

This isn't a very large store and doesn't offer much parking. Instead your guaranteed the best service in Sydney. The staff that work here all seem to love each other and their customers. The manager of store is a young female who is awesome and her staff look up to her. The store is always very neat and tidy however doesn't really offer a huge range. Great work Balmain!!

Plenty of parking lots at the entrance. Store is fully packed with all the necessities. Popped in to grab some snacks, fruits, bread and had smooth exit through the self checkout counters.

Excellent clean store! Different to the other big supermarkets that make it difficult to find stuff. Doesn't have a wide range but enough for its size. Staff are super nice and go out of the way to find what you need. Super clean like a boutique

One of my fave shops. Everything available at the right price, with very polite staff. Ample parking in the rear side of it.

I like this store because, form the outside, it doesn't look like a supermarket and the higgle-di-piggily theme continues once inside -- this Woolies shows you both sides of Balmain as the bigger Woolies further in Balmain a basic (cold) shed.

This woolies is in a tight location so a limited footprint but there is good range of choice and today there were a lot of big discounts.

Amazing! I rang the Balmain store on Australia Day to try and get hold of some truffled salt, or truffle oil which was the magic ingredient in my Australia Day fish pie that I had failed to get. A tricky request but Mariam (I think she might be the store manager, if she isn't she should be) answered the call and said she'd not only go and check but she would call me back with a result! When she called back to say they didn't have it, she said she'd call Leichardt's store manager to find out whether they had it. Great customer service, congratulations!

Wow-just happened upon here by chance and am amazed at how bratty most people sound-I mean it is a supermarket-and it's busy and gets the same fruit and veg all the Woolies get-so unlikely to be less fresh than other less busy stores-and dirty? I go there almost every day-and it is not as glamourous as the IGA at Drummoyne (which has the original Italian Tira Mi Su that Balmain Woolies used to stock but traded in in favour of its own crap one ) but it isn't dirty-and hearing about people complaining not enough this and that really does demonstrate what a selfish, materialistic, out of perspective area this has become in the thirty years I have been living here-be grateful you have food people!. And I haven't seen any food supermarkets with rest rooms in Australia-that is an American thing-
I know this is a review and so it is meant to be picky, but these reviews often seem to be written from an extremely entitled position and without reference to normal expectations of a supermarkets, or a cheap hotel room etc-
PS Balmain Woolies consistently has best and best priced avocadoes!

I loved the selection and the ready to go food packs for couples after work. So much fresh food. Loved the restroom facilities #cleanupinisle4 haha
Although I do have one criticism. It has come to my attention that one chat renegade by the name of Joshua Craker has been walking down the isles and eating all that comes in his way.
Please, if you see this man, call the police. DO NOT APPROACH THIS MAN. He is very sexually aggressive.

Good, well stocked mid size Woolies with all of the specials. Very useful when you don't want to travel for a big shop 🛒

Well laid out supermarket, very friendly staff who are always happy to help, good range of flowers, ice freezer at front, impressive deli selection, usually easy to find a parking spot as well

Nice and easy place ,the products always very fresh the only trouble is you can't find easy parking,Always full.

Easy parking (not inside a larger shopping complex), no stairs, best street-level access within 5kms, easy for elderly and people in wheelchairs.

Good shop. Bigger than metro. Not as big as Leichardt.

Great Wollies though big comparsion-that store may be "Max" Metro, also I still shop other two- Rozelle may be "Mini" Metro & Marrickville Metro may be "Super Max" Metro(Wollies).

Very busy store. Staff are really friendly, you feel welcome shopping here.

An excellent shopping venue. Buy all you groceries here with ease. Look for the discounts. There are many.
