Just around the corner from Airbnb accommodation this is an excellent store with beautiful fresh veggies and lovely bread

So much nicer than going to a massive Woolworths or Coles. Got everything you need, lovely staff and you don't need a sat-nav to find what you want.

Fantastic. Great range of foods, with a good representation of local goods. And it is great to see fresh fruit salads on offer, somewhere!

I would like to say a personal thank you to the management of the QE Store in Balmain.
Whilst traveling from suburb to suburb frantically looking for a RAT kit ( just like other members of the community) I did manage to purchase a box from this store for $33.
I have paid various prices overtime depending on the brand, type and number included in the box but QR FOODSTORES is definitely not selling them overpriced compared to what I have already paid especially online.
It is a very difficult and stressful time for all at the moment .I think we need to remember this by trying to be kind to one another.

A great addition to Darling Street. A small grocer with a large range of products and produce, with many local brands you don't find in the big supermarkets. Always fresh, great tasting produce, plus pre-made meals and a great selection of meats.

Great small grocer that is managed with pride. The store is clean and very well stocked. The fresh fruit and vegetables are of good quality and nice bread too.

While I have never been to QE in Balmain, I have only kind words to say about them. My parents are currently stuck in Sydney, trying to get back home to Canada, and I had to reach out through a Facebook group to try and find anyone willing to pick up some food and necessities for them to make it through the next week before they might be able to get home. I was able to find someone extremely kind and generous to go run some errands, and upon being asked by staff at QE what she was shopping for and explaining the situation, she was given a discount. I am so impressed by such generosity during such a challenging time, and I cannot express how much more comfortable my parents are going to be knowing they can make some of their own meals and get through the week more easily. Thank-you, QE in Balmain! You've made a difficult time a little bit easier :)
